Hikermick@lemmy.world 4 days agoI am on team Will Smith with this one. Never give a woman of color a hard time about her hair. I’d rather diffuse a bomb while in shark infested waters. I’ve been punk rock for 40+ years, had a mowhawk and other hairstyles outside of the norm (people used to want to fight you over this) and no demographic of human being has been more supportive when it comes to taking chances with fashion than black women. This is a hill I will die on

Walking on stage and physically assaulting someone? It was premeditated, he sat there and thought, then walked up and thought. It wasn’t just a heat of the moment thing.
Nothing said verbally should warrant that.
