When people get scammed, it’s not their fault just because there are conceivable ways they could have learned it was a scam.

Having an offer rescinded from a company that’s widely known for being a shit company absolutely bears some personal responsibility. It’s not 100% - but it’s also not 0%.

Uh huh, and people in work reform should not be surprised that PayPal is a shit company. That’s kinda the point of this, share info about shit companies… their name comes up all the time. Don’t apply there. Don’t work for them.
