  Yea my grandparents handed down a shitload of waterford crystal. Never used. Stuff is probably expensive but coffee mug for my goon is more practical.

  I think it was a status symbol thing back then. Absolutely pointless stuff.

    We have 4 crystal decanters.

    I’ve used two, so I can feel fancy.

    Sure they’re nice to look at, but pretty large and awkward to use and clean.

    They stay hidden

    I agree but we just don’t use them. Personally I don’t like them and the cupboard they’re in requires crouching to access.
