We were gifted a large amount of crystal glassware as engagement/wedding gifts.
Thereās an entire cupboard dedicated to it. They are used very, very rarely.
Shit is overrated as hell.

Yea my grandparents handed down a shitload of waterford crystal. Never used. Stuff is probably expensive but coffee mug for my goon is more practical.
I think it was a status symbol thing back then. Absolutely pointless stuff.

We have 4 crystal decanters.
Iāve used two, so I can feel fancy.
Sure theyāre nice to look at, but pretty large and awkward to use and clean.

I agree but we just donāt use them. Personally I donāt like them and the cupboard theyāre in requires crouching to access.

We donāt own any dishware in this house that canāt go in the dishwasher. Best decision we ever made.
