- Comment on What's a cancelled game you really miss? 2 days ago:
Babylon 5: Into the Fire. Killed just months before release after a corporate restructure. The closest we got was some Freespace mods.
- Comment on Australia turns down China's offer to 'join hands' to fight US tariffs, aims to diversify trade, strengthening ties with Europe, India, Britain, Middle East 1 week ago:
China have imposed their own tariffs on Aussie stuff in the past, so fuck 'em.

Isn’t this from The Cage? They’ve had 60+ years. I doubt it’s a high priority.
- Comment on What is your single favourite movie soundtrack? 5 weeks ago:
Le Fabuleux Destin d’Amélie Poulain. Also my favourite movie.

The Hunt for More Money.
- Comment on Amazon has already made a Bond film – it cost $300m and is unwatchable 1 month ago:
I disagree they did a great job with The Expanse. The first three series are better IMHO, especially series three. The Amazon seasons just feel like a loose collection of bottle episodes in comparison.

Yes, there’s a decent (albeit bare bones) Android client. The web interface is about to have a major update, but at the moment is pants.

I’m bridging my main Mastodon account with bluesky, but I fully expecting this service to disappear soon enough. I remember when Twitter, Facebook, and a bunch of other sites allowed crossposting until someone realised they were driving traffic away from their own site and shut it down. I think it was Facebook. I can’t remember. Same is likely to happen here, or they’ll charge an exorbitant fee for API access like Reddit. For now though, it kinda works.
- Comment on ABC article alleges caucus concern over Fatima Payma being "guided by god". Smells of a character assassination to me. 9 months ago:
Just imagine if one of these ‘guided by God’ people ever managed to attain the Prime Ministership. Then we’d be in real trouble.
