Stupidity apparently.
- Comment on Nintendo Confirms Backwards Compatibility for Switch Successor! 2 weeks ago:
At the hardware level yes, software, yes as long as you don’t mind repaying for something you bought previously (potentially) and also don’t mind it being unavailable a few years later.
Source: had Wii U and switch.

At least the pumpkins are compostable.
- Comment on PS5 Pro Games to Scale Better Than PS4 Pro's, Says Dev; Maxed PCs Cost 3-5x Times, Can't Be Compared 4 weeks ago:
Even if I don’t disagree games on consoles are better optimized, anti-consumer tactics they employ have made sure I will avoid them in the same way I’ve started to avoid Microsoft and Google products. It’s not about console vs PC, it’s about consumer media rights for me.

I’ve been wondering the same thing profesor.

Forgot: “Nintendo is suing all of them!”

I someone that has not played halo before I was wondering if the beer belly energy was supposed to be part of the character.

I recall also reading about people in Australia and some other places with diets consisting of harder food for developing babies/toodlers having better jaw/teeth ratios and straighter teeth despite no regular access to a dentist, which kind of corroborates the findings.

It’s like corn (e.g. tortillas) for some cultures or wheat (e.g. bread) for others.
- Comment on 75% of all PS5 owners prefer Performance Mode according to PlayStation 2 months ago:
Best we can do is the game will run on ps5 pro only. Regular ps5 is supported only at 15 fps.

That was the most out of touch thing to say. Clearly these execs have never sweat from actual work on their lives that think people can get comfortable with no income.

Hate that on YouTube…
- Comment on An important update on Concord 2 months ago:
Have noticed any trend in how “collectible” something is with the introduction of “online/periodic patches”. I always wondered since there seems to be a lot of software at different versions gluing everything together vs what used to be the standard before (console software was for the most part finalized at launch).

- Comment on Steep Descent 2 months ago:
Not quite. The thing making it to the off-road location without discharging gives it away. Donut had a video where they tried to do some of the claimed use cases for the “truck” and they had to turn back due to fear of getting stuck without enough range.

It does seem pretty fun to watch every time there is a small scene in movies or tv.
- Comment on I Worked For MrBeast, He's A Sociopath 3 months ago:
Why do people that err on the side of Mr. Beast always call him Jimmy? He signs MB on his merch so it seems unnecessary.
True that if the guy making accusations does not have proof, it will be a pretty shit position to be in. I have seen other creators giving him the benefit of the doubt based on their experiences collaborating Mr. Beast though, so it’s kind of early to tell. And the illegal lottery accusations seem pretty straight forward to prove based on archived videos circulating.
- Comment on Anon checks out mobile gaming 3 months ago:
Plants vs zombies was originally pretty good. I had originally bought it many years ago. Tried to play it again recently and the thing I paid for is some ad infested dumpster fire. Made me ignore all mobile games. Even the good ones can be ruined as you have no control of updates when you change phones.
- Comment on Anon finds a plot hole 3 months ago:
You would think so, but look at the US and some other countries with racists of different kinds wanting to “go back to the good ol’ days” or wanting to push the societal problems to muggles (or immigrants/POC in the case of the US).
- Comment on Why doesn't the American market provide efficient and effective health insurance like it does for car insurance? 3 months ago:
I agree that insurance companies are a scam, but it sounds like you had the work done before repairs and shops were agreed in? Insurance companies generally work like that…

Elmex sounds like the localized version of Elmo for the Mexican market.
- Comment on Real 4 months ago:
While that is true, items are purposely made unrepairable now. You don’t have right to repair movements because John Deere and Apple devices are so much more complex to repair for common failure points. You have those movements emerging because companies make it extremely difficult in the name of profit or style with equally skilled and capable repair personnel not being able to even partake in the process.

Bonus trivia: not all older videos were shot in “film”. That is why some 80’s music videos on YouTube look great, while others not so much (other things being equal). The “film” ones can be re-scanned at a higher resolution and retain a lot of the original detail if the originals are around.
- Comment on Ironing 4 months ago:
I feel like a lot of people from different countries would fit that description after the fact since technology was more expensive and it took us longer to be able to afford the new and trendy items.
