With that said, a beater with snow tires and chains on the trunk (and a driver that knows how to put them on before they are needed) will do better than a Subaru with all season tires.
Source: Subaru forums, even a RWD like a BRZ/FRS with snow tires can be safe if driven with the car’s limitations in mind.

While not as bad, my dad is kind of like that with phones. I installed Linux mint and honestly as long as the same ginormous Firefox icon (which I told him was the internet and YouTubes - same as the same of in windows) is around, he can still get to his karaoke and YouTube videos.
On my side I know it is pretty much impossible for him to get a malicious executable now, every few weeks we do upgrades when I visit which are a lot faster than windows updates.

I would disagree. They are saying they are gullible enough to fall for both new scams (AI) and old scams (believing the Oracle will actually provide any support to some product their sales team is pushing).

Worked retail and the end of shift crew always had to wait to leave at the same time with some bag check BS. Pile of shit thieving corporate and management would adjust the time to cut out payment of the last 5 or so minutes. The company is now defunct (taken out by vulture venture style capitalist owner entity after it was sold), otherwise it would have been nice to call the department of whatever deals with wage theft on them now that I know better. A.k.a.: if your company does time adjustments silently, consider this your signal and call the inspectors on them.

At the hardware level yes, software, yes as long as you don’t mind repaying for something you bought previously (potentially) and also don’t mind it being unavailable a few years later.

Even if I don’t disagree games on consoles are better optimized, anti-consumer tactics they employ have made sure I will avoid them in the same way I’ve started to avoid Microsoft and Google products. It’s not about console vs PC, it’s about consumer media rights for me.

I recall also reading about people in Australia and some other places with diets consisting of harder food for developing babies/toodlers having better jaw/teeth ratios and straighter teeth despite no regular access to a dentist, which kind of corroborates the findings.

Best we can do is the game will run on ps5 pro only. Regular ps5 is supported only at 15 fps.

That was the most out of touch thing to say. Clearly these execs have never sweat from actual work on their lives that think people can get comfortable with no income.

Have noticed any trend in how “collectible” something is with the introduction of “online/periodic patches”. I always wondered since there seems to be a lot of software at different versions gluing everything together vs what used to be the standard before (console software was for the most part finalized at launch).

Not quite. The thing making it to the off-road location without discharging gives it away. Donut had a video where they tried to do some of the claimed use cases for the “truck” and they had to turn back due to fear of getting stuck without enough range.

Why do people that err on the side of Mr. Beast always call him Jimmy? He signs MB on his merch so it seems unnecessary.
True that if the guy making accusations does not have proof, it will be a pretty shit position to be in. I have seen other creators giving him the benefit of the doubt based on their experiences collaborating Mr. Beast though, so it’s kind of early to tell. And the illegal lottery accusations seem pretty straight forward to prove based on archived videos circulating.
