I haven’t booted up OBS in a few months now. It would be too much work for me to do. My hair look nice. Make sure my lighting setup is just right. Clean my room, set up my camera angle and then make sure that everything on stream is appropriate, Not copyrighted and all that stuff.

I’ve actually attempted live streaming. It totally sucks. The joy out of sitting in front of a computer and zoning out playing your game. You start to go. Oh no I can’t play this game cuz I’m playing it on stream.
I wasn’t majorly successful but I still made affiliate and had some regular watchers. The pressure to create content and be entertaining and stay engaged was too much for me and continue doing it all for the paltry sums that I was getting. In the end I made enough money streaming to make up for all the equipment I bought for it. But I quickly ran out of real time to stream when I needed to make real money. So I got a real job.
- Comment on If I got in a collision with a car from the 70s with a car today, would not the 70s car win out since it would primarily be metal? If so why don't people buy more 70's cars? 1 month ago:
If you weren’t fucking murdered from the whiplash of not having any crumple zones absorbing the impact. Then you would surely die of your insurance going absolutely through the roof for driving a fucking car from the '70s and getting into an accident

I don’t even think Google has a search Monopoly. They might have a maps Monopoly. But even Apple competes with them pretty heavily on that.

That’s fair. Everybody’s body is a bit different I suppose. I would totally be doing more stretches in your case though.
- Comment on My friend Charlie is back.... 2 months ago:
This fixes it instantly every time for me. Ignore everybody else. When you get that cramp start moving our foot in the opposite direction pointing your toes towards your knees and stretch out the back of your ankle. Instant cramp relief everytime.
If you have cramping often like this then maybe dedicate yourself to some hamstring stretches.

You know what’s funny is the story happened that way, not because it was the only way it could happen. They originally had Jesse pinkman’s death planned for the end of season 1 he was supposed to be killed by Walt. But he ended up being a fan favorite character and they kept him on.
- Comment on Breaking: BAD 2 months ago:
Jesse’s supposed to get completely dipshit-headed but he has a complete redemption by the end in my opinion
- Comment on Is there a game that combines Civ with Sims? 2 months ago:
Rimworld is a game that you get to play in the way you want to play. It allows you to choose the pace of your game and the difficulty. You won’t ever be able to turn off combat, but you can make it less of a problem.
- Comment on Is there a game that combines Civ with Sims? 2 months ago:
Yes this is literally just rimworld
- Comment on They're calling it the Trump Laptop. Highest quality. So affordable. We're making technology great again, folks. 2 months ago:
That was a bug. You weren’t supposed to see that it’s running an Ubuntu back end. See this is their “new proprietary” AI Trump OS that totally isn’t just a copy pasted Linux distro. That’ll be $500 for the licensing fee please.

Everything is animated, but it’s all snappier and more responsive somehow than the first game

It’s really hard to improve on perfection. In this case they did it.

I think Xbox is shutting its console skin to compete directly with the PC market. Head-to-head.

It turns out this isn’t a censorship ban or anything of the sort. The UK prime ministers are just tired of the unoriginality.

You see it happen over a course of 5 years or so. A community posts jokes with poor taste as satire but slowly and surely the people who are posting the jokes are people who are posting them seriously and they’re still getting upvotes and support because of the way th community views the jokes as “positive” slowly the people who aren’t for those jokes leave because its not clear if we’re joking anymore. All that’s left are the people who post the satire seriously.
- Comment on 4 months ago:
They aren’t even saying this is edgy in fact they like the meme. They’re just telling and informing us about the slippery slope that this sort of meme can give if a community isn’t aware of themselves. As an elder millennial on the internet, I agree with this sentiment that we should be careful with what kind of views and humor we share with each other. It should always be explicit that these jokes are jokes and not representative of the actual views of the community. Satire needs to remain satire

I read it as 48-hour chocolate chip cookies. I make those often actually. I find with my recipe especially the 48-hour rest really helps the cookies flavor. It’s been fun. Experimenting.
