  So once upon a time, you actually got honey at the market replenishing your pot, rather than buying jars in the supermarket.

  This thing was always in the pot, and you did not use a spoon to get your honey, it works better than a spoon and you just leave it in the pot.

  Today americans probably bleach their jars, spoons and bees, but honey is surprisingly shelf stable, having a pot with a little hole with this little plunger sticking out is fine really.

  I mean, this is the real world not a videogame, how can someone think to “just shut down” an entire industry segment? We are in free market capitalism, and unless they also suggest to “just shift to autochratic communnism” this ain’t going to happen.

  I get your pc, “tamper” it, then i install a fake bios that tells you all is well and that your tpm and secureboot and whatever else bullcrap they invent is still happy.

  Turned out that those in control of the tech could control the tech, so contrary to the hype nothing was free, decentralized and scalable. Never.

  In their defense there only so many big rivers, round there, and most do function as border
