It’s like a virtual license file for a game. It’s basically the same system as before but now you can trade them with people on your friends lists.
People with kids: be sure to set parental controls on this before your kids are bullied into sending away all the games you bought them

Couple things there.
There are Virtual Game Cards, purchased and downloaded digitally from the eShop. These can now be traded, sold, gifted etc. to other friends, which was not previously possible. (This could possibly require an NSO subscription, but I’m not clear if that’s true at all.)
There are physical game cartridges, which contain the actual game on them, and (from what I’ve heard) most games will be distributed this way.
Then, there are also physical carts that contain only the virtual game license file, thus that you have to possess the physical cart in order to download or play the game. Apparently, there are Switch 1 games like this already, but they are rare.

Someday we’ll find out that all the Switch 2s actually peer together and create a blockchain to track ownership

The problem now is living with someone who doesn’t do this and then you expect it to be balanced because you take the time and effort to be precise as a show of appreciation for the others around you so they don’t befall the same fate that you now must suffer as you discover the eggs are now in unbalanced and they’d till all over the floor, because they didn’t happen to hyper focus these exact thoughts and how could they be so inconsiderate after you put in so much effort to focus on this to prevent this exact situation
Bro life is too exhausting wtf

Not as readily recognizable; but on the other hand, if you recognize Jesus then you already know this is incorrect.

Oh so you don’t like it when other people seem to pull arguments out of their ass but then it’s ok when you go ahead and do it?
Ok, please describe your playtesting experience with 4K games on Switch 2.

$50 in 2007 is $77.62 in 2025. The outrageous thing is how little the working class has been given to compensate for it.

- Comment on How are the blatant anti-competitive practices of Apple just…allowed? How is this even possible? 3 weeks ago:
Why wouldn’t they be able to? Acceptance to their App Store requires that apps be built with a trusted tool chain. Their reasoning is that it’s harder to built malicious apps that might make it past review if you’re using their tools.

Chrome and Firefox on iOS are wrappers around Apple’s WebKit component. Neither of them run their own rendering engine.

- Comment on Hades 2 will be a Nintendo Switch 2 console exclusive at launch 4 weeks ago:
The line in bluring, but the Deck can run Windows if you want, it’s a PC stuffed into a controller (and that’s not a dig at it, either)
- Comment on Hades 2 will be a Nintendo Switch 2 console exclusive at launch 4 weeks ago:
It’s also on steam, like already you can buy it in Early Access
I don’t think many people who aren’t to Hades are like “aw fuck I can’t play it on my PS5??”
The three Xbox users are in shambles though

It’s cute you think that event, which happened over a year ago now, is the only example of a hospital being blown up in Gaza.
The IDF literally bombed a cancer center last week. With patients in it. And took credit.
Like how the fuck is this even a question anymore

I moved to a new place and it came with one of these.
Besides the inconvenience of essentially paywalling features, it fucking GUZZLES rinse aid and send you notifications about needing more, and it doesn’t rinse it all the way off meaning my dishes need rinsing before drinking out of a glass for example.
Fuck Bosch and fuck Consumer Reports. What an absolute ingot of microplastic pollution someone rammed into my kitchen
