Many car “keys” are wireless tokens nowadays (tbf I’m not sure of the security compared to traditional keys, I only heard some brands like Kias were very easy to steal in the last few years).
Mostly we want a million buttons with tactile feedback, I’m with OP! I would also like an EV “econobox”: a sensible shitty boxy lightweight car with a small LiFePo4 battery that charges fast. Spend 100$ more dollars on the charger and cooling goddammit, or make THAT upgradable!

You’re not wrong at all, the worst part is even the “cleanest” of fuels will need to be refined, trasported (burning more fuel and rubber). If one were to live in the middle of nowhere without electricity or sun or wind or geothermal etc…then it starts making sense. So almost never

croc is great, works even when devices cant find each other on the network, or with gigantic folders (I use it between computers).

I was interested in the “non-traditional” fps of Fury Road so here’s the relevant part from wikipedia, they actually used less than 24 for most of the movie.
According to Seale, “something like 50 or 60 percent of the film is not running at 24 frames a second, which is the traditional frame rate. It’ll be running below 24 frames because George, if he couldn’t understand what was happening in the shot, he slowed it down until you could … Or if it was too well understood, he’d shorten it or he’d speed it up back towards 24. His manipulation of every shot in that movie is intense.”[75] The Washington Post noted that the changing frame rate gives the film an “almost cartoonishly jerky” look.[76]

Hey, at least installing a foss browser won’t slow down your phone like a spyware app, you could always try something like Mull even for only a portion of your browsing if you have ~80MB to spare. I suggest it because I hate some of that extra bullshit that comes with standard Firefox. Also there’s tons of projects that try similar stuff with Chromium! Like Mulch. Way better defaults than Chrome
