Whitewashing a genocide is enough of a reason for me to never trust another thing they ever say, ever again.
- Comment on Dry humor 6 days ago:
The tweet says it all really. If there was any way AI could keep the country safe and create jobs they would just lay the plan out. Instead it’s just cookie cutter platitudes and buzzwords. As you said, meaningless waffle.
- Comment on Burnham to consider ban on disposable barbecues as wildfires rage in UK 1 week ago:
Classic. A sensible country would just ban them without a second thought, but I guess we have to make sure businesses interested are served first.
- Comment on Why don’t Gen Z buy rounds in the pub? 3 weeks ago:
Because it will cost them a day’s wage.

Nah, he’s so old news, even Israel wouldn’t waste money backing him. He’s just doing this for the love of the game.

Imaginaryremoved spy should be white, I agree.

Incredible. Tenants are still on the hook to pay for the replacement of the cladding on buildings they don’t even own. In a decent country the building owners would have paid for the work and those responsible for the disaster would have received justice.

- Comment on NOT THE BEES 2 months ago:
Honey bee Queens can live for about 3 years. Workers vary. Winter workers have shorter lifespans due to high activity, while the winter bees which just need to be fat and huddle together in the hive to prevent all the bees from freezing to death can live for about 6 months. As the queen gets older and stops laying as much, the workers will eventually kill her and allow one of that season’s new queens to replace her.
This hive us huge though. No one queen could support a hive if 5.5 million so I’m guessing this must actually be a number of hives in close proximity

If we didn’t let him use our airbases to launch attacks it would be considerably harder. Our government is complicit, and supports it

- Comment on Hackney pub’s child‑free rule sparks debate online 4 months ago:
I really don’t think it should be controversial for a drinking establishment to choose to be cold free. Often they aren’t suitable for kids anyway.
- Comment on 4 months ago:
All depends on the frequency of the radiation it is giving off and the intensity I guess. Probably not the same as what we get from the sun, so I’m guessing solar panels aren’t suitable

This is just the, “pointing out genocide is antisemitism” with a slightly different coat of paint.
It’s no secret that Western media is completely incapable and unwilling to admit what Israel and the West is doing to Gaza and the greater Middle East, and for that matter what it has done in the past and around the world.
I think it’s safe to say that whatever forces control western media (hint: it’s capital), they act against the interests of humanity.
Now, if you’re mind instantly jumps to (((DA JOOs))), that’s a you problem

I always wondered with this experiment why burning the food gives an accurate measure of calories? Obviously our digestion doesn’t literally burn the food, so how are the two processes analogous?
