- Comment on Other than a faulty charging port, is there any reason to use a wireless phone charger over wired? 5 hours ago:
I’ve heard lots of complaints from people owning various brands that the built-in wireless charging pads are useless. Regularly cut off, phones don’t stay in place, etc. These are for the regular Toyotas, Hondas, etc., not the high end models.
- Comment on Other than a faulty charging port, is there any reason to use a wireless phone charger over wired? 6 hours ago:
I have one scenario where it’s useful. When in the car and entering a parking lot and you have to scan a qr/bar code on your phone, you can easily pick it up and get it out the window. That said, wireless charges on cars are terrible.

Have a look at www.privacyguides.org/en/. Their lists indicate OS/device compatibility and they also note any potential caveats.
- Comment on Is there a historical event, person or time period you'd like to see made into a series? 14 hours ago:
Joseon Dynasty in Korea /s. In case you aren’t aware, the /s is because almost all historical or historical fantasy kdramas take place during the Joseon dynasty for some reason.
For a serious answer, maybe something that happened in the Southeast Asian region before (or maybe during) colonization. For a documentary series, I’d like to see something about how humans crossed into the Americas from Asia and reached South America.

Thanks for this. There are a couple of shows that look interesting that I wasn’t aware of.
- Comment on How You Doin? 1 day ago:
I unintentionally make people buffer when they say “How are you” and I just answer with “good” and don’t return the question. There’s usually a second of dead silence because they expect to get it back and answer. I’m not used to asking a rhetorical question as a greeting, and prefer to just just say Hi or Hey.
- Comment on What is a TV show that was one of your favourites, but just went on for far too long? 1 day ago:
Peaky Blinders. And if that wasn’t enough, they’re making a movie too. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great show. But you only up the stakes too much until becomes too grand for its own good.
Severance, if they go over 3 seasons. The show is already a slow burn and holding on to a single mystery to move the plot forward. It doesn’t make sense to make it go over 3 seasons with its current pace.

Oh no worries, I was just curious as someone who’s familiar with the process. No need to elaborate further if you’re not comfortable sharing. Good luck with your future endeavors!

I’ve been anticipating to watch it this week. Sigh
- Comment on Why do we even do mens vs womens sizes for clothes? 5 days ago:
Like others already mentioned, they don’t just differ in size, but in shape as well. What I would prefer is different varieties for each size per sex. For example, I am an Asian medium. So when buying shirts in the US, I’m in that weird spot where a US medium is too wide on the shoulders and the sleeves too big, but the torso is just right. On the other hand, a US small fits just right on the shoulder width and sleeves, but the torso is too tight. It would be great if there are variations based on build as well like pants (i.e. slim, standard, wide, etc.).

I do, but cheese doesn’t love me. I’m lactose intolerant. I can take a small serving, but too much will make me hit the toilet. Thank goodness there are a lot of dairy alternatives now.

Hell, even just 30 years ago was way different. My experience of getting a root canal in 2024 was a million times better than when I had one in the ‘90s.

Do you have a link? Regular pillows are too thick for my head when lying on my back and it hurts my neck. I instead use a folded blanket so I can customize the thickness.

I was gonna ask why so I could provide a counter argument, but then the question specifically asks for a movie you will never be convinced is good. So I won’t bother lol.
