  I think that some people are just assholes. And other people are too sensitive.

  Sometimes its a bit of both. Sometimes its one or the other.

  I enjoy mercilessly shit talking people who mercilessly shit talk me back. But I have the social awareness to recognize when this isn’t appropriate, and to treat people the way they want to be treated, not how I want to be treated.

  YouTube is and has always been shit.

  Except for let’s game it out and kurzgesagt. In all the years of YouTube they’re literally the only fucking things I’ve ever found worth watching at all.

  Like. You can compile better or more diverse datasets to train a model on. But you can also have better code training on the same dataset.

  The model is what the code poops out after its eaten the dataset.

  Increasingly I feel like our only hope for the future is somehow achieving ASI and that it somehow is benevolent in spite of our numerous failings as a species and KT basically starts manipulating us or directly controlling us away from self destruction.

  There are so many doomsday scenarios on the horizon that if it ends up being evil we may at least be able to take it down with us.

  Sometimes objects im using have like, a personality and desire? Like they won’t want to get thrown out or there’s some kind of relationship between two forks.

  Its kind of subconscious - I’m only somewhat aware of it. Its weird.

  Also when in recalling things Ive learned recently I’ll sometimes recall a place I’ve been to as well. This happens most frequently with code for some reason. Programs I’ve written or functions will be strongly tied to places in some way? I don’t get it.

  I read… Something once and they suggested the past we may have collectively possessed a more direct relationship with rekigi9n like you’re talking about. That for some reason or another we don’t tend to “hear the voice of hod” like we once did. Out relationship with our internal self had changed.   Isn’t meaning just comparing and contracting similarly learned patterns against each other and saying “this is not all of those other things”.?

  The closer you scrutinize meaning the fuzzier it gets. Linguistically at least, though now that I think about it I suppose the same holds true in science as well.

  Search is broken. It’s been getting worse year over year and Google / Bing and all the various offshoots that are JUST GOOGLE AND BING (this isn’t a fucking secret, people.   I mean they don’t care about you consenting since they’re rapey AF but - “person-like” animals such as orangutans, dolphins, corvids, could probably offer consent in a manner that’s ethical.

  I don’t think anyone should fuck any of the above, or even could fuck a corvids, but there are legitimate implications in ethics of an animal is capable of consenting to anything.
