You know, around the point you mistook me for a liberal, I realized something. Nowhere in this thread have you shown an once of concern for Palestine. You have only tried to admonish others and pat yourself on the back. If I knew nothing else about your character, that would be enough.
Live well, maybe one day you’ll find the redemption you prescribe to others.

I too have been consistently against genocide, I have protested, I have called senators, I have donated time, money, medical supplies, and food.
I didn’t gamble and lose, I fought the best I can, and will continue to do so.
I hope you do more than “demand better”, because all your demands amount to is pissing down the backs of Palestinians and telling them it’s raining.
- Comment on I'm not worried you're worried 1 month ago:
No, I heard your gotcha. But the reality is standing to the side telling people “I told you so” is just sticking your head in the sand. You are enabling a worse genocide just for the sake of moral masturbation.
You might as well tell the people feeding the homeless they are “accepting homelessness” as well. Amounts to the same bullshit logic.
But when Trump enables a full scale genocide, you can pay yourself on the back and say “I had nothing to do with that”.
- Comment on I'm not worried you're worried 1 month ago:
If your “gotcha” is you prefer the genocide to get worse to “teach people a lesson”, you need to do some introspection as well.

What do you do with the mad that you feel
When you feel so mad you could bite?
When the whole wide world seems oh, so wrong…
And nothing you do seems very right?
What do you do? Do you punch a bag?
Do you pound some clay or some dough?
Do you round up friends for a game of tag?
Or see how fast you go?
It’s great to be able to stop
When you’ve planned a thing that’s wrong,
And be able to do something else instead
And think this song:
I can stop when I want to
Can stop when I wish
I can stop, stop, stop any time.
And what a good feeling to feel like this
And know that the feeling is really mine.
Know that there’s something deep inside
That helps us become what we can.

- Comment on God of War Ragnarok PC port suffers review bombing on Steam due to PlayStation Network account requirement 2 months ago:
How much of a problem it is will vary by how much it impacts and upsets a customer. For you, sounds like it’s not that big of an issue. But
the fact that they pulled out the “review bombing” exscuse means that it qualifies as a problem to a significant percentage of customers.
- Comment on Is your writing skibidi? 2 months ago:
I dunno, I think it’s a bit more clever and less desperate than that. The teacher knows the kids are saying it a lot. Getting them to even lightly associate it with their learning objectives will help at least some kids academically. Mnemonics are stronger when they are memorable and repeatable after all.
There is no way the teacher thinks this will make learning “cool”, and fact that co-opting it speeds up the process that skibidi will become “uncool” is probably just a fringe benefit to the teacher. Really, it’s a masterclass in psychology, a win-win.

So if a cheater wins hard enough, it can be called “fair and square”? Not sure what specifics could get me on board with that.
- Comment on [deleted] 3 months ago:
Perhaps, but with all of the voter suppression and election rigging that has been done by the Republicans, can you really say he won “fair and square” at this point?

5 minutes ago I knew nothing about this, and honestly I don’t have the “discerning eye” necessary to notice these issues even if they did exist.
That being said, I have been looking for something to get mad at…
- Comment on Why The Democrats Never Get Anything Done 4 months ago:
$150 billion out of $1.7 trillion…
A 40% reduction in emissions that we are no where near on track to meet.
Income inequality down for the first time since '07, largely due to the middle class wealth stagnating. The ultra wealthy increased their wealth the fastest of all groups.
I’m more invested in not sending weapons to Israel tbh. And this isn’t even picking apart the mass amount of issues both political parties align on or simply ignore.
I’m voting for Kamala. I’m super stoked that Biden dropped out. I believe Trump would be worse on all of these fronts, and I think Kamala has a better chance to win.
But a lot of people are still rightly disappointed in the Democrats, and to write us all off as Corporate shills and Tankies is alienating a group that you probably agree with on many levels.

I guess my point is that you have no argument.
I think you are mistaking me for t0fr. While I do think you had a terrible take, and did ask how it was relevant to what t0fr said about Bethesda’s Fallouts being known for having worse writing, I never argued that Bethesda’s games weren’t the most well known in the series. So, again I fail to see how what you are saying has any relevance to what was asked…
But, for the sake of argument, the StarWars sequel trilogy had the highest combined box office of any of the trilogy’s by far. Does that mean the Sequel trilogy is the best of the three? Does that mean that long time fans shouldn’t get an opinion when stories that they loved get steamrolled over?
Dont get me wrong, I’m enjoying the Fallout show, and I like the Bethesda games. But sales numbers and ownership aren’t the be all end all of what makes good fiction. And pretending like it is largely plays a roll in why we get so much high budget schlock.
- Comment on The Fallout Bible: a collection of lore documents compiled for use in the development of the original (cancelled) Fallout 3 8 months ago:
Okay, disregarding how terrible of a take that was, which part of your rant was relevant to the fact that Bethesda has serious writing issues?
- Comment on Steam keeps on winning 11 months ago:
Has that lawsuit gone anywhere? I’ve seen games published on origin and GoG for cheaper then they are on Steam. And Steam will honor developer provided game keys (hence why places like Humble and Green Man can sell games so cheaply). And after trying to research the claims, all I found was reports about the lawsuit existing. It seems like if that was real, there would be more than reports of a lawsuit and contradictory evidence by way of literally being able to buy games for cheaper on other platforms.
Not saying it’s total bullshit, just seems kind of suspect all things considered.
- Comment on The salary a single person needs to get by in every U.S. state 1 year ago:
Well, according to the most recent Bureau of Labor Statistics report, 1.6 million workers are at or below the federal minimum wadge. And I could break down the groups for you, but seeing as you could have just googled it yourself instead of incredulously asking internet strangers for anecdotal evidence, I’ll assume doing so would be a waste of my time.
Still, if you are genuinely curious, here is the report I mentioned.
- Comment on The salary a single person needs to get by in every U.S. state 1 year ago:
I agree that this article is flawed, though it seems to be aiming for “click bait fun” rather than “expert financial advice”. So I think your expectations might be flawed.
Furthermore, speaking of the “minimum living wage”, I think this FDR quote is relevant:
and by living wages I mean more than a bare subsistence level-I mean the wages of decent living. With that in mind, I don’t agree with your assertion that wanting to live alone constitutes more than the minimum expectation an American should have for a decent living.
- Comment on The salary a single person needs to get by in every U.S. state 1 year ago:
“getting a roommate is sometimes the only way a single person can cover their expenses.”
I guess you skimmed the article.
