  Yeah, I don’t get it either. I made a store for my website a couple of years ago, and jQuery was crucial for me to handle all the events and triggers. Trying to do it in pure JavaScript looked like a complete nightmare.

  I like Nextcloud on my TrueNAS scale setup, but for photos I’ve started using Immich. It works extremely well, and does automatic backups of specific folders from your phone. The interface looks nice too.

  I’m pretty sure they’re talking about something you can do in a New Game+. If you take the right teleporter at the start of a New Game+, you go straight to the final boss. I’ve done it before, because there’s a special ending!

  The issue I had with my Asus ROG laptop was that EndeavourOS didn’t support the volume buttons on the keyboard, along with some other keys. It was annoying enough that I went to Manjaro.

  I used to use Fedora on my Asus gaming laptop, and loved it. More recently I’ve chosen to switch over to Manjaro, because I wanted something based on Arch that was more lightweight than Garuda. Gotta love that Linux life.

  Oh my sweet summer child. Ringtones were in a different audio format than mp3s. Plus, getting the ringtone onto the phone required additional fuckery.

  This is how my wife and I operate as well. But because both of us cook, when my wife is busy being a pediatrician, I can take care of the meals for the week. It allows us lots of flexibility, unlike in the house I grew up in where my mom did all the cooking. I didn’t really learn how to cook until fairly recently.

  I agree about MuseScore’s reaction. I really like the way MuseScore 4 feels, and the MuseHub is pretty useful. Check out Tantacrul’s video on Dorico. I found it informative.

  I have raged at Sibelius numerous times when I was told “It’s the best music notation software out there.” Finale, the other big corporate music notation software, touting itself as more user friendly, has a garbage UI. It’s because of this YouTuber that I found out about MuseScore (for which he’s worked on the UI), and I was psyched to see he’s part of Audacity as well. I’m fully switched over to MuseScore now, and I’m staying there. Plus it’s FOSS!

  I just finished watching the video. It does a good deep dive into the money behind Kurzgesagt. Makes me sad, because I enjoyed a number of Kurzgesagt videos in the past. Not gonna watch them anymore.
