When I lived in Melbourne I had a pet cockatiel. I had to get yearly check ups, and the only Avian vet was out in Burwood, so taxi it was.
But every time I called to book a taxi, I told them I’m coming with a bird in a large cage and I could spill water. Just because I was worried about getting turned down for a ride.
FYI, the taxi drivers always loved it.

So a few days ago I dropped my Merkur 39c and it broke into 4 pieces. Stupid zamak heads.
So I pulled out the 34c HD today, it’s still a great razor. (I head shave by the way)

In my head, you’ve walked up to a random shelf stocker, asked about it, they’ve said “oh, you’ll hear from our head office”, and you’ve walked out feeling validated.
I love it. Please tell me this is it.

I have 5 minutes to have a shower if I’m lucky, so this morning it goes like this.
Head under the hot water.
Lather some soap, just the bar of soap in the shower - rub it all over my head.
Grab the Sledgehammer with last weeks permasharp still in, hope that I remembered to dry it last time…
No blood and cuts, feels smooth, and I’m already running late for work.
Get dressed, bop on a couple fingers of Noble Otter Space post shave and go wake the kids up before I leave.
It’s Friday and there were only two people in the office today anyway.

But there are so many dodgy similar looking ones that auto complete if you’re typing it.
I went to type in the aka.ms to find a bit locker recovery key. And didn’t realise it autocorrected to something like akam.ms and it was a super sketchy site about bit locker recovery. Luckily I realised straight away even MS wouldn’t host a website like the one I saw.

I’ve been driving in for nearly 3 years from Castlemaine/Bendigo area but avoided the ring road until now. I’d only heard stories…

I travel into Melbourne for work. About an hour and a half drive.
I used to come in via Sunbury Rd near the airport but that route has shit itself getting in or out since roadwork is increasing. So I’ve started using the Calder and Ring Road near Keilor.
I thought the Sunbury Rd area was dangerous. Jesus Christ, if you decide to ever drive on the Ring Road you’re really just hoping you don’t die. Just the short stretch to get back on the freeway out of Melbourne is basically a suicide run.
Has it always been like this?

I haven’t seen it. I have heard about it, but was well before my time. It was early 90s that my dad showed me all the Bond films and let me read his books.
If it had been running repeats on tv I’m sure my dad would have had us all watching it though.

When I saw Casino, I was blown away. I still think that’s it for the franchise, they’ll never top that movie. I’ve seen most of the newer ones since Casino, and to me I’m right.
And to me, Casino works standalone. That ending is the perfect implication of what happens next.
My favourites before Casino were From Russia With Love, Live and Let Die, and The Spy Who Loved Me.
I did really like Roger Moore, I thought his light hearted adventure style Bond movies were a lot of fun (not always good 😐)

Some more modern run and guns - Blazing Chrome and Huntdown. Both of those are a good time.

Yes, I used to use this stuff all the time in my old roach infested apartment. And then I felt really bad for the cockroaches and had to stop though.
