Amazing game, one I can just pick up and play, choose a direction and just take my time with Arthur on his horse and whatever he comes across
- Comment on Skyblivion, the fan remake of Oblivion in Skyrim's engine, nears completion 1 week ago:
I really hope so! It seems like such a no brainer, get a studio to remake the bulk of it and keep creative control. I came into TES world in Skyrim and would love to go back through them but I’m a snob for a modern looking game now.

- Comment on Xbox Sales Hit Rock Bottom After Historic 2024 Decline 2 weeks ago:
I am lucky enough to have both the PS5 and the Xbox and personally find very little to pick out between them. I prefer XB controller but think the PS5 one is better quality with the haptic feedback. I love Game Pass and have found tremendous value in it, more so than in PlayStations version though PS still manage to get exclusives.
Mind you the way some of these articles sound is that the whole Xbox gaming division is on its knees and doesn’t sell a machine or make a penny.

I’d like the government to go after Brian pound companies who pay minimal tax like Starbucks, Amazon etc. If you make money off the British people you should pay taxes.

The excitement of getting one of the original bad boys for Christmas and being glued to Super Mario and Tetris for years. Then Pokémon Yellow. Was pure magic.

I’d like to be optimistic but I found the Emperor Georgiou to be such a dreadful character (not the fault of Michelle Yeih who is fab) and can’t root for her at all. When they had the sending off for her in Discovery and everyone was sad when she was horrible to them all it felt so contrived and forced. To see her lead a movie is an odd choice.

I know you are being downvoted but I feel similar for the most part, I do find that not all countries versions of the left-centre-right divide marry up to each other and even the terminologies can get confusing. e.g in UK we have Liberal Democrats who are the only Centre party but the word Liberal in there can cause confusion for others. In Scotland we have free education including all the way through to degrees at universities etc thought that was started by the left wing government, the centre party wants to keep it as does the right wing.

Love RDR2 but never really spent much time on the online version. Is it good to just explore? Are there missions the same as in the main game but just not voiced by your character?

Right?! They must have so much fun coming up with races and classes etc so a fresh canvas to create on would be killer. Plus they make nice visuals and the soundtrack for DOS2/BG3 is 👌

Love BG3 and Divinity OS2, about ten hours into DOS and enjoying it too. They have top tier storytelling and seem to enjoy what they do. I’ll be getting whatever they do next but I hope it’s sci-fi.

Thing is after a certain point I can’t even tell the difference any more. I feel like the downloads are throttled from Microsoft’s side so I never quite get the full whack.

I sat with 2mbps for a couple of years. It was quicker to unplug and take my XB to my parents house an hour away to download anything!
Keep the faith, I get 400mbps now and all I had to do was be a little patient, move to a different county and get into crippling debt.
But those download times 🤤

- Comment on Skyrim Is 13 Years Old, But Elder Scrolls 6 Is Nowhere in Sight While Bethesda’s First Four Games Took Only 12 Years 3 months ago:
Skyrim will always hold a special place in my heart, it’s almost like a simpler time.
Starfield damaged Bethesda for me though. To spend 25 years on it in total and for it to be as it released was very disappointing. I mean basics like, no city maps or land vehicles? Every base you come across having the same bodies in the same place with the same loot? I want to love it, they can do things I can’t even imagine (I can’t program Jack shit) but for that to be the end point of their decades of labour just doesn’t add up for me.
