- Comment on 007 First Light review – a triumphant James Bond game made by obsessive fans 1 day ago:
I wish they would come out with an optional update to remove all streamers/e-celebs from the game because its not just Khaby thats in there. Their presence tarnishes the game but thankfully they are all entirely avoidable and non-consequential to any story-line so its not a huge deal, its just annoying that they are there at all. You have this cool cinema-style bond experience going on and then bam, theres Shroud/Jacksepticeye/Khaby standing there to bring you back to reality for literally no reason other than what? To bait content creators/streamers to see? So their fans can go “ooh theres my favorite streamer at a coat check!” I dont get it.
Let me remove them, it will not negatively impact the game.
- Comment on How come Mark Wahlberg got a pass for being the crap out of a Vietnamese guy. But Kevin Spacey, Bill Cosby, Weinstein, do not get a pass? Beside the sexual aspect what is the difference? 1 day ago:
Barely criticized? It still comes up today, and Im not sure if its any consolation but the guy he attacked publicly forgave him after Wahlberg met with him and apologized in 2016.
Im not sure what the stereotyping comment has to do with this discussion though.

Wahlberg was arrested, charged, and served time (albeit a very little), also his main offense occurred in 1988. Spacey and Weinstein were continuing to offend, and along with Cosby were serial offenders.
So you have a Wahlberg who was a piece of shit as a youth and then (as far as we know) corrected himself and remained hate-crime/assault free for going on nearly 40 years now vs rapists who were active until they were publicly outed.
- Comment on Is there anyone or any part of the Trump Regime that is not actively bowing down to him? 4 days ago:
No, anyone who did (or even seemed like they might) was purged.
- Comment on Is it true that you can't drink alcohol in a commercial? Like Shane Gillis pointed out to Post Malone in their commercial? 6 days ago:
They can, the industry just doesn’t. There’s no law prohibiting it.
- Comment on When a judge tells the jury to ‘forget XYZ,’ how can the jury possibly do that? 1 week ago:
Its more that when deliberating the jurors just consciously disregard that info. However, everyone knows that this is a request at best. What jurors do or do not consider when they are deliberating will vary.

Release it on PC and watch it sell more, almost as if releasing it on more platforms allows more people to access it.
- Comment on If A zombie is dead. Completely dead why does a shot to the Brain kill them? Is the brain keeping them semi alive? Also how do they keep sharp teeth to bite you and not rotting away? 3 weeks ago:
there are many different types of zombies, and since they arent real theres no ‘single source of truth’
in the 28 Days Later series they are not undead, they are hyper rabies infected people. In some series it a magical or spiritual afflicition (hell ran out of room so the dead roam the earth) In some series its a biological pathogen, so some kind of virus or fungus that takes over the body and is centrally controlling the brain.

Thats why its only one of a few reasons and not the only reason

The biggest giveaways are the weirdly pixelated faces (used to hide obvious AI elements) the awkward pose, the way the plaid pattern on the left side (his right arm, just before the white sleeve) merges together, the lack of any other version of this image existing (which is common for photo shopped images) and that when this is run through AI detection software it is flagged as such.
- Comment on Hrmmm 🤔 5 weeks ago:
That does happen often, but this is an AI image, not photoshop

its just an AI meme anyways
- Comment on According to an MIT study, relying on ChatGPT for stuff like essays and creativity leads to cognitive atrophy and such. What should I do when writing stories without ChatGPT and other AI chatbots? 1 month ago:
I am not a writer myself, so take this with a grain of salt, but it might be better to just start writing things down in a short framework, even if elements of the story are missing or incomplete. Like you may think about a specific scene/situation so you can jot that down, then you might write something like “there would be a problem that caused X character to be here” just to have a placeholder so later you can come back and replace it with something.
Also consider that studies have shown physical activity can help stimulate your mind. So maybe go for a walk to think about your story or what you want from it
- Comment on How do people force themselves to write something, even if they're NOT inspired? 1 month ago:
Inspiration and motivation can be fleeting in all aspects of life, and so discipline can be more reliable.
Some progress is better than no progress.

Ragebait is a type of trolling, shitposting is more in the realm of stupid/silly humor

- Comment on We show you how NVIDIA RTX Remix can upgrade your classic games with Quake III - PAX East 2026 1 month ago:
The point is that NVIDIA decided to inject AI slop into their product and in that single move ruined their entire reputation in my eyes. I dont need a cozy game AI-Slopified into “photo realism” especially when its the AI version of that, a style that is distinct and offensive to me.
Any modders using AI like this are also modders whos content Ill never download or support. Its pretty simple, I dont want any slop in my games. I dont want to pay for slop in my games. Anyone asking me to do so gets written off.

“You only stopped scrolling because the thumbnail promised tits.”
No, I stopped because I was curious how the image in the thumbnail caused anyone problems. Considering how high the contrast is I didnt see how anyone would actually recognize the woman in the image without being told it was her. However the actual article shows an entirely different woman in different images that are more explicit and clear.

- Comment on Would it be possible to have a successful career as a lawyer and never lie? 2 months ago:
Only if hiding it is an attempt to deceive. So simply not telling your boss you hate them would not be a lie by itself. Being truthful does not require you to go out of your way to offer information.
The real summary here for an answer to OP is “no, its not really possible to be a successful lawyer without lying” because even small lies are kind of important to social etiquette as others have noted. People often say lies of omission dont count as lies, so I wanted to address that angle. A lie of omission requires deception. For example if you hate the flavor of bananas, but dont go around telling everyone you hate the taste of bananas, that is not a lie.
- Comment on Would it be possible to have a successful career as a lawyer and never lie? 2 months ago:
Not true. The key is the intent and attempt to deceive. Forgetting to include info or being aware of it means you did not intend to deceive.
- Comment on Would it be possible to have a successful career as a lawyer and never lie? 2 months ago:
Thats why the requirement for omission to be a lie is that there is an intent to deceive.
