- Comment on 'Valve does not get anywhere near enough criticism': DayZ creator Dean Hall says the 'gambling mechanics' of Valve's monetization strategy 'have absolutely no place' in videogames 1 week ago:
I think people just want someone to blame. It’s as stupid as blaming a scummy car salesman because you bought a car you can’t afford. You let yourself be talked into it. You let somebody sell you something. They didn’t take the money from your pocket. Maybe I just don’t understand because I didn’t grow in the privilege to have money to waste on digital shit in digital crates. And if my parents did (they didn’t) they would’ve never ever given me access to their banking. Thats foolish.
It’s like people who expect things to be censored because they’re too lazy to monitor their children or learn router and dns level blocking. Or for gods sake, don’t give you child a smart phone.

After they start and get addicted. You’re not ill when you start . Unless you have something else going on not related. You have full power not to start. Just play the game, kill the other guy, have fun with your team. Thats all you need to do in any game. Thats all I’ve ever done in a game like CS. I don’t even notice all the other stuff. I play the game.

I don’t really care. Idiots are easily parted with their money. Thats their fault. I’ve played CS for decades and never paid for a chest or whatever. Never had an interest.
- Comment on Has InZoi been better than the Sims in your opinion? 3 weeks ago:
I’ll just keep playing sims 2, the greatest sims. And all the old mod sites are still up and I can hoard thousands of clothes mods. There was a free installer that came with all the dlc that got taken down, but I still have it and it works.
- Comment on Is it me or does it seem like review bombing on Steam has become so much worse recently? 4 weeks ago:
Good thing I don’t pay attention to reviews. Half of them are people whining about things that aren’t a problem for me.

The only one I care about is steam. And the others I know will bend the knee because their policies have already been heading that way, thats why I’m not on them anymore

So I can’t play battlefield without TPM? I hate tech these days. My Ryzen board doesnt have it. Hence why I’m not on windows 11
- Comment on Founder of Arkane Studios: "I think Gamepass is an unsustainable model that has been increasingly damaging the industry for a decade"; impacts sales 3 months ago:
I like indie games for walking sim and story heavy games only. Outside of that, 99% of indie games feel like some pixel art bs retro rip off roguelike nostalgia cash grab. I hate garbage ware like meatboy, etc.
If AAA studios weren’t so shitty, I feel like half of the indie studios wouldn’t have a chance.

Omg I owned untold legends when I bought my psp at release. I loved that game but my little brother destroyed my psp like a month after I bought it with my first job. I could never remember the game’s name

I hate the feel of loose fabric on me. If I wasn’t born male, I’d wear leggings.

I am wary of it. This and the propaganda against Bernie lately makes me think this is more fuckery to get the left to turn on things it likes. Don’t forget Trump and his ilk recently threatened Wikipedia because it was allowing information they don’t like and for DEI.
How do I know you’re not just another troll farm vegetable?

While I emulate switch too, I have to add that it’s getting harder and harder for me to pirate. So I’ve been stockpiling on switch roms. With certain isps and the current administration , freedom of internet traffic is under threat and isn’t as reliable as it was a year or two ago.
Comcast for example has been going hard. Straight up blocking sites ( have several work arounds but now they’re throttling my vpn traffic to 0 kbs/sec no matter what the vpn or what settings I use. And half the vpns I have tried throttle torrent traffic.
So that’s something to look for.

Thank you, you’re a god among men. I use a pihole for DNS, but I will give Torguard a try because I’ve been thinking of getting rid of private internet access since they went all corporate.

Pirating is getting so hard for me that it’s becoming not an option. Comcast has started blocking vpn nodes for me, but only of I am torrenting. And if I turn off the vpn, DMCA notices out the ass. I’m kinda stuck.

Fiddling with settings is ok, but I don’t have time to spend trying to get a game to work. Like i game on Linux and 90% of games just work for me. A few years ago they didn’t and I stuck to windows for gaming. I have no time to figure out why sound doesn’t work in Skyrim lol.
But it works now
