- Comment on What are the next steps for Americans to help prevent the worsening of genocide in Palestine? 1 month ago:
We don’t? We lost. I’m going to go back to huddling in the corner.
- Comment on Why is Horizon: An American Saga flopping in theaters? 5 months ago:
This is the first I’ve heard of it.
- Comment on Your new neighbor, a genie, opens 'Temptation Mart' next door. Food, alcohol, substances, carnal pleasures, gambling - all complimentary, 24/7. How does this affect your daily life? 5 months ago:
And the noise! 24/7. Time to move.
- Comment on "Select a size" when it's just standard paper towel roll. Literally the same way it's always been. 6 months ago:
That’s silly. Compare per sq ft, not sheet size. There’s no guaranteed sheet size. Same thing with toilet paper.
- Comment on "Select a size" when it's just standard paper towel roll. Literally the same way it's always been. 6 months ago:
Still are if you don’t buy a select a size roll.
- Comment on What are y'all buying on the steam sale? 9 months ago:
I’ve played Hardspace and Subnautica and love them both. Solid pics.

- Comment on What games do you think are unfairly snubbed when talking about the best games of all time? 11 months ago:
Sins of a Solar Empire is one of my all time favorites.
- Comment on Why do we have an internal monologue? 11 months ago:
I always find this conversation fascinating and it makes me wonder in what other ways people may experience the world differently.
I do have a constant internal monologue. Every word I read is spoken in my mind. My thought process is, to my awareness, me talking things out in my head.
- Comment on How have you personally found the Lemmy community compared to its competition and other social media? 11 months ago:
So much this. People seem to generally be fine here (I never found the reddit communities I interacted with to be toxic) but heaven forbid you purposefully use Windows or pay for software.
- Comment on Do you play games over the holidays with your family? 11 months ago:
What has become our holiday tradition is Jackbox.
- Comment on Starfield End of the Year Update 11 months ago:
It should be clearly opt in, in my opinion. I don’t believe it is here.
- Comment on Starfield End of the Year Update 11 months ago:
Why does a single player game have this much telemetry and how do I turn it off?
- Comment on Star Trek Resurgence Giveaway 1 year ago:
There was that old Voyager fps, Elite Force, that kicked ass.
I put a stupid amount of hours into Starfleet Command. Probably my all time favorite. I’m the kind of person who geeks out on power and shield management.
I played a lot of Sins of a Solar Empire and I mention that because there was a cool Star Trek mod for that game I played for a bit.
Lastly, I played STO for a couple years. Loved the story and space combat but man the ground missions a slog. Still I enjoyed that game a bunch.
I feel like I’m missing something but I can’t think of any more.
- Comment on Exciting news! The free API you were using is no more free! 1 year ago:
HOLY SHIT! 12 whole dollars a YEAR to keep using the deprecated API they don’t want to support anymore. What monsters.

“android” is a word outside of being a proper noun.

- Comment on When we think of thunderstorm in terms of mythology we usually think of gods being angry, sad or war. I wonder if there are cultures out there that think of thunderstorm just Gods farting. 1 year ago:
My mother used to say this.
- Comment on Capcom President Thinks Game Prices Are 'Too Low' - IGN 1 year ago:
I mean story, and voice acting are part of many games.
- Comment on Capcom President Thinks Game Prices Are 'Too Low' - IGN 1 year ago:
You’re comparing this guys runaway success with a company with several development teams, office spaces, marketing teams, accountants, probably janitors, security, etc, etc.
That’s sorta the point tho, isn’t it. Not saying Capcom should be one guy in a bedroom, but maybe there’s alot of bloat not related to actual game development that could be streamlined/cut. Esp. When it comes to executives.
- Comment on Dusk Developer David Szymanski: I'd rather pay Valve 30% and put up with their de facto monopoly than help Epic work towards their own (very obviously desired) monopoly 1 year ago:
I have 146 titles in my Epic library. I’ve never given them a penny and don’t plan on starting. I can’t be the only one.

Right? Just update the behavior to stop and eat after killing one. Have the herd run away.
- Comment on Starfield player claims you can farm 100 levels in just 5 hours using this method 1 year ago:
Having not played FO4 that doesn’t sound intuitive. I’ll know for sure once I try making an outpost. Of course nothing in game has told me why I’d want an outpost other than a place to stuff companions.
- Comment on Starfield player claims you can farm 100 levels in just 5 hours using this method 1 year ago:
I’d like any in game explanation myself. I haven’t been told anything about them. I’ve been trying to avoid guides online to not be spoiled.
- Comment on Starfield, is it getting review bombed? 1 year ago:
I can’t tell you how much I need a separate office space to separate work from play.
