  I got my Xbox Series to play Fable. It also doubles as an extra Halo machine for Lan parties. But it was really for Fable.

  Still waiting, but it’s supposed to finally come out next year I believe.

  I kind of love the early game. If I see a particularly difficult room, usually it’s a treasure room and you can back out or take the challenge. The two real objectives are get gold or kill a boss.

  RL2 feels a lot bigger and more dependent on longer marathon runs and more strategic builds. For me it’s still a lot of fun, but not nearly the same cozy feel. Plus there are other challenges that seem mandatory for progression. Having said that, I have not touched the difficulty sliders.

  I’m going to give a possibly controversial opinion. But my favorite casual game to play is Rogue Legacy.

  If you accept that you know you’ll die a lot, it’s a lot less stressful. Outside of that, it’s extremely player friendly. It’s not too complicated. There’s progression. You have runs that end and give you a place to stop. You can turn it off anytime without needing to worry too much about losing progress. It has platforming.

  I love the Morrowind recommendation. Also, unlikely suggestion, but I had to get a pen and paper for The Great Crystal dungeon on Final Fantasy XII.

  From the sound of it, it will just use PS5 OS. So probably not. But every system after PS1 other than the PS4 has had some sort of backwards compatibility.

  I live in a maroon state. I’m definitely overweight, I literally just checked a BMI calculator and apparently I’m a hair away from obese (that doesn’t feel accurate, but that’s what the numbers say).

  I’ve been told so many times that I’m a healthy weight and I don’t need to lose weight.

  I used to see them all the time on Playstation. Kingdom Come Deliverance and Prey are $3 right now, Control and Shadow of War are $6, Serious Sam 4 is $6 (I might get that one). There are others too. But not as many as there used to be though.

  I would love to know for sure. I’ve pit hundreds of hours into Final Fantasy 8, Final Fantasy X, Morrowind, and probably Halo: Reach too.

  My PSP was half it’s own console and half a portable PS1. The PS3 ended up with a massive PS1 catalog and I think all of it was downloadable to the PSP.

  Any time a critical character dies (usually because you’re on a killing spree) it says that. But it’s also become a meme when someone famous dies in real life.

  I don’t find that hypocritical. My issue with acquisitions is that it makes multiplatform games potentially exclusive.

  Franchises they built and invested in should be exclusive. Franchises they hoard with no additional resources should remain multiplatform.

  I definitely saw people looking at the culture angle as a silver lining or sometimes as a potential net positive. I only saw fanboys celebrating Bethesda though.

  Either way it seemed to me like most were looking at the potential upside. Not that they were actually glad that it happened.

  What I always hear is that companies will send C&D letters to small ventures, because it creates precedence. Without that, a company loses the right to sue.

  It’s weird that games nailed run racing games back in the PS2/Xbox era. Between Burnout, Midnight Club, Need for Speed, all of them peaked. Then couldn’t repeat formula. Then on the PS3 they had Motorstorm. But really there hasn’t been a lot of fun racing games since.

  I used to play the crap out of this game. I got a ridiculous amount of stuff without paying a dime too. I had to stop playing because it took too much of my time.
