I do, but most of mine are just black crew socks that just go in a pile together.

I think that was the only full price I’ve bought digitally, because my friend and I wanted to game share and play together.
MMO shooter seems like an undeserved concept. Buy I guess you have the scope of Defiance with the polish of an MMO. Or you have the scope of Destiny and the polish of a normal shooter.

Mag
There’s something so special about the command structure, having your own squad v squad, while a whole other battle is taking place around you. But also that you could be pulled for extra resources if needed.
I tried Hell Let Loose, but it’s too chaotic and open.
- Comment on The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remaster is real - Eurogamer 2 days ago:
I beat the entire thieves guild quest line starting at basically level 1 by using the strategy of “run fast”. There were some major flaws that kept me from loving that game properly, so I’m hoping it’s more user friendly with the remake. But I could definitely see a lot of charm in it.
If it isn’t one of the ugliest games I’ve ever played though. Why is every character a shiny, pudgy, orange?

Similar to costars that aren’t friends. Like, some people just work together.

It’s not “official”. But it’s stated as the reason Cortana chose him over the other Spartans. I think it’s supposed to explain the video game retry nature of video games. But also why he survives random chance circumstances when others don’t.
He’s also really good at surviving though.

Similarly, The Master Chief (video games, but still) has literal luck on his side.
Also, in Marvel it has been stated repeatedly that “something” keeps popular characters alive. Sometimes it is an actual reality warping character (eg. Franklin Richards) or sometimes explained in a more meta way.

I’ve been putting the marathon stream of Samurai Jack on in the morning (on the Adult Swim app). It’s a pleasant way to start the day.

I assume people were worried about them pulling an Xbox, especially since they are largely the same concept.
- Comment on What's the best "good-bad" TV series you've seen? 1 week ago:
Most of the shows on here that I’ve seen looked pretty good before I watched them.
So, Ghosts (U.S.).
It’s not revolutionary or anything. But I’m laughing every episode. It honestly feels like it shouldn’t be as entertaining as it is.
- Comment on Nintendo Switch 2 Game-Key Card Overview 2 weeks ago:
I don’t like the idea of a game that can’t be played long after the servers have gone down.
But I’m glad that it can still be traded or sold after purchase unlike what Xbox tried to do.
- Comment on Antony Starr is glad ‘The Boys’ is ending: “I don’t like seeing things outstay their welcome” 2 weeks ago:
I don’t think they are suggesting Butcher had depth. Just that they think the core of the characters and what made them interesting was changed needlessly.
By the way, I also loved the show Preacher and I’m glad they changed it from the comics. But I also understand being upset by it. Sometimes I want adaptations to get the core of the characters right and sometimes I’m totally fine with a more inspired interpretation of a story that I like.

Get rid of the melodramatic attitude and don’t make the greatest martial artist in the world lose to a single goon.
- Comment on What is a TV show that was one of your favourites, but just went on for far too long? 3 weeks ago:
I only watched one season with the new crew (Google is telling me it was season four when Morgan and they joined), but imo the only thing I liked was Dorie. Did it get good after that?
What’s messed up was that a lot of the original cast would get really interesting and then leave or die as soon as I got excited about them. Like Travis and his son got really interesting for about 2 seconds.

The worst part of The Walking Dead was when they split the Negan stuff into 2 seasons. Every other episode was filler and the whole thing crept along for two years. And it was after the show was already on for awhile and already kinda slow. It just killed any remaining interest.
I’m glad I stuck it out cause the rest was pretty good. But also if you include Fear, I think that was around the Negan seasons, that shit sucked. Too much bad content all at once.

Playing one of the big multiplayer arcade cabinets like Simpsons or X-Men was the original couch co-op with whoever was at the arcade not playing pinball or pool.
I bought the 4-Player co-op X-Men arcade cabinet from Arcade1up and it’s been a blast playing it all the way through with my son.

Bloody scenes? The whole game is made up of bloody scenes unless you’re intentionally avoiding doing the finishers. And even then it’s just less so.

- Comment on Are modern Final Fantasy games bad? 1 month ago:
For the record, I was also immensely disappointed in XV. However I loved XVI. The ability cool downs in particular felt very ATB-like to me and I loved the customization. The story is very good and one of my favorites from storytelling perspective (in other words, HOW the story is told).
I also really liked the combat and exploration of XII. And the Zodiac version makes it even better.
I thought XIII had some of the best moments in the series.
XIII-2 perfected the gameplay from XIII and made storytelling and exploration “fun”
XIII: LR is very experimental and has some of my favorite action-based combat in the series.
World of Final Fantasy is a lot of fun if you want turn based monster capturing.
Stranger of Paradise is a blast. My only issue with it is that you can’t really overpower by leveling up. I hit a hard wall with a boss and the only way through is “get good”.
I didn’t get much into Type-O but I keep meaning to.
Theatrhythm exists. I love it, but it’s also it’s own thing entirely.

So, I would assume from this video that a smiley face means they’re going the speed limit. It keeps flickering between the two, meaning the sensors keep getting confused.
Is that not right? It seems too spastic otherwise.

- Comment on Games franchises that need metroidvania spinoffs? 1 month ago:
My first thoughts were Final Fantasy because you have all the enemies you need. And they’ve already branched out into monster catching and Souls-like. So might as well.
My second thought was X-men because the Genesis games were already kinda built for that.

The hodgepodge of different vehicles in different terrains was so incredibly fun to navigate no matter which vehicle type you chose. And using 6axis was just a whole other level, even if it wasn’t the easiest way to play.
