- Comment on Got any must-play games for strategy fans? 1 week ago:
Some of the campaign missions are really good with a nice variety too. I’ve been re-playing some on the hardest difficulty and it’s a real time hog but good fun to spend 2 hours on a mission!

I haven’t checked recently but last I heard HW3 was not good. Homeworld is one of the best of all time and even Deserts of Kharak is very good too.
- Comment on Do you wish that you could recycle games? 2 weeks ago:
Something like re-gifting games and/or a way to trade them back to the storefront (discount % of future purchases etc.) would be interesting.

Squad and Squad 44 but if you think 8k players is dead then they are maybe not for you.
- Comment on [deleted] 2 weeks ago:
Tell that to the players…
- Comment on What's the greatest joy you have gotten from a video game? 3 weeks ago:
I play games with my wife every now and then and it’s great. I wouldn’t say regularly but every few months we’ll play something like State of Decay 2 or Astroneer and get really in to it for a week.
- Comment on What procedures do you take to save and archive your games? 4 weeks ago:
I don’t really bother but I do have some related stuff like unofficial patches and fan remakes/mods of my favourite games.
- Comment on what was the last game you played in 2024? 4 weeks ago:
F1 Manager 2024
I like to play it while watching a movie on another screen.
- Comment on Longtime buddy of mine just got a gaming PC. What games would make up a good "welcome to PC" care package? 4 weeks ago:
Get them a month (or 3) of PC Gamepass so they can play everything and find out what they like.

That’s good to hear. My daughter is a bit older than your kid and she loves Goose Game so much.

A Short Hike
Untitled Goose Game
- Comment on Best City Builder 2024: Manor Lords [as per PCGamer] 5 weeks ago:
I played it when released to Gamepass and it got boring quickly so hopefully now there is more to it.
It is a beautiful looking game though.

no time to admire the view
Apparently everyone wants instant gratification and we need to be on to the next scripted moment, then the next one, and the next… No time to admire anything you see.
The best thing about Gamepass is all the non-AAA games that I wouldn’t normally get to play because there is a lot more variety in them.

I wouldn’t go that far but I do block users that post this shit.
- Comment on New report claims gamers spend more time watching videos about gaming than playing games 1 month ago:
I very much doubt that people are watching games exclusively though. They are probably working, playing a game themselves (I watch while playing Football Manager etc…) or glued to their phone.
- Comment on What are your favorite "gotta go in blind" games? 1 month ago:
They are on to the last episode now but it’s all overdue by like 5 years at this point so who knows.
- Comment on What are your favorite "gotta go in blind" games? 2 months ago:
Yeah it’s changed a lot over the years but is such a unique experience I recommend it to everyone.
They still haven’t released all the story mode chapters but survival mode is by far the best way to play.

The Long Dark
Getting lost in the snowy wilderness I so much fun. I have many “oh shit” moments that kinda don’t happen once you learn the maps and improve.
- Comment on Anyone else bounce around from game to game with no clue what to play? 2 months ago:
There is always a need for those 3, 5 or 10 hour games. Something short and sweet instead of the mindless grind of a live service game. I recommend looking in your backlog for something different every now and then.

Most definitely. Welcome to journalism I’m 2024…

5 years is a reasonable age but you’ll need to post your full specs.

No thank you Sony.
- Comment on What are your favorite 1000+ hour games? 2 months ago:
I have one game with 1000+ hours and that is Squad. It’s the only online game I play anymore as it is the only game that has teamwork/communication (it takes be back to Battlefield 2 days) and none of the shit like battle passes etc.
My gaming habits are just playing lots and never finishing anything… but I have fun still.
- Comment on You Pay For It, We Own It - Sony's $7.9B Lawsuit 2 months ago:
I agree with all the replies I’m getting but people are literally going round in circles with the outrage over digital licenses.
Buy physical, backup your media, download illegally or do what you need to do to show businesses that things need to change.
- Comment on You Pay For It, We Own It - Sony's $7.9B Lawsuit 2 months ago:
You did buy something, a digital license that comes with it’s own terms.
I agree with you by the way but it’s been 20 years and people still act surprised about this stuff.
- Comment on You Pay For It, We Own It - Sony's $7.9B Lawsuit 2 months ago:
I’m all for these lawsuits etc but people need to wake up to the fact they don’t own anything digital, it’s been this way for years now so no excuses.
