I don’t know what I’m doing but I’m here now…
- Comment on Smaller rally/racing games I recommend you try! 3 days ago:
World Rally Championship in the arcade was my first experience and have been a fan ever since. Even though I have EA WRC, Dirt Rally games and a wheel/pedal setup I mostly play Art of Rally.
- Comment on For people who want to play their favorite games but are unable to, what are you currently doing? 1 week ago:
I’m sorry to hear that. Obviously we don’t know your situation but I just want to say that gaming doesn’t have to be expensive so hopefully you’re back to it sooner rather than later.
- Comment on Microsoft's real problem was never PlayStation 1 week ago:
It’s not Valve/Steam killing Xbox. Microsoft is killing Xbox.
- Comment on What are your favourite single-player games without much fluff, grinding or difficulty spikes? 2 weeks ago:
**Citizen Sleeper **
- Comment on Hesitating getting a Switch 2 (1st game console in 15 years)... 2 weeks ago:
Switch 1 would be my recommendation.
- Comment on The Expanse: Osiris Reborn Will Take Cues From Mass Effect, Souls Games and More 2 weeks ago:
I’m interested but will wait until release to get excited.
- Comment on Steam Deck / Gaming News #21 2 weeks ago:
A great read as always. Thanks for the Xbox tip, that shit was annoying having the hub pop up instead of launching the games. If it wasn’t for quick resume I think the Xbox would be gathering dust… all the updates to it nowadays are ruining it more and more.
- Comment on Hey PC game developers, please follow Stellar Blade as an example for PC optimization in the future, because it absolutely rocks 2 weeks ago:
That’s probably mostly true but optimisation is becoming a lost art from that some devs just don’t know.
- Comment on How Sonic went from “fighting to survive” to being a global megastar in 10 years: Sega’s Sonic series producer tells all 3 weeks ago:
I’ll admit I’m very pessimistic they will continue the upwards trend but with the remakes/reboots/sequels due (hopefully) later this year I hope they do.

- Comment on What are your favorite Tactical RPGs? 3 weeks ago:
Wargroove is very good.
- Comment on The Witcher 4 Developer Calls Xbox Series X "Extremely Challenging" for 60FPS 3 weeks ago:
I really like my Series S but having a few games be X exclusive would be fine. It’s definitely holding the X back at this point.
- Comment on PC Gaming’s Mascot Squad—who makes the cut? 4 weeks ago:
Yuri from Command and Conquer
- Comment on [deleted] 4 weeks ago:
The same can be said about the average Steam Deck owner.
- Comment on The Expanse: Osiris Reborn Announcement Trailer 4 weeks ago:
The trailer was actually pretty bad but the gameplay at the end seems like it could be interesting.
- Comment on Please Don't Preorder This... 5 weeks ago:
I get to play 3 days early, bug test and pay you £80?/Oh boy… sign me up!
- Comment on Please Don't Preorder This... 5 weeks ago:
Unless its something physical the days of pre-orders are dead.
- Comment on Epic Games Unreal Fest News 5 weeks ago:
Thanks for this.
The biggest feature I’m waiting for is family sharing of some sort. That would get Epic a lot more use from us since whenever I think my wife/kids might like a game I use GOG or Steam.
Regarding DMs, people need to stand up for the little guy… Steam won’t survive without complete devotion… I’m sorry to hear it happens because your post are great.

- Comment on A Sealed Copy Of Fallout 3 DLC Is Selling For Over $2,000, And Fans Have No Idea Why 5 weeks ago:
It’s a show piece. No one expects it to sell for that much but it gets eyeballs on the store.
- Comment on The Long Dark gets a big free visual enhancement update out now 5 weeks ago:
The update is ok. Stuff like terrain blending looks bad and the random environment things, like rocks falling, do break the immersion because they repeat in the same places.
- Comment on When making lots of small games is more sustainable than making one big one 1 month ago:
And in our case, I really feel it boosts our creativity. We’re making this game [TMNT] for less than $300,000 in 18 months.”
I genuinely believe this and it’s kind of a lost sentiment. Hopefully they continue doing what they’re doing and how they want.
- Comment on What games are just objective master pieces? 1 month ago:
Thomas Was Alone
I’ve never felt so much for quadrilateral shapes.
- Comment on What are some good cooperative shooters? Hidden gems? 1 month ago:
- Ready or Not
- Six Days in Fallujah
- Halo
Halo is an all time great and especially for co-op.
- Comment on Game media preservation, where? 1 month ago:
Out of Print archive is my go to for nostalgia.
make sure to look in the WIP section for even more magazines
- Comment on Catchiest video game song? 1 month ago:
Hang On main theme tune is excellent. The soundtrack to Hang-On and Super Hang-On are both top tier.
- Comment on GOG News for Gaming/Linux/Steam Deck 1 month ago:
I like the look of the white custom title cards but whenever I get to a game that doesn’t have one it ruins the theme and I end up changing them back…
Also if Old School Rally does come to GOG I would buy it in a heartbeat. Colin McRae Rally (and 2.0) are some of my all time favorites and I still play them regularly.
- Comment on Wait, that game is still playable online? 1 month ago:
I haven’t played for years now but NeoTokyo still has an active community.
Post Scriptum (now known as Squad 44) is still alive. A very under-appreciated game and they are trying to revive it with a new dev team who have been doing wonders but the active player count is still well below 1k.
- Comment on You can now use authenticator apps to keep your GOG account secure! 1 month ago:
Thanks for this. Long overdue from GOG.
- Comment on I'm a console gamer so, Why the hate on the Epic Games Store? 1 month ago:
People are overly loyal to Steam and don’t realise the huge market share they have. It’s not technically a monopoly but everyone else is fighting over the 20% that Steam doesn’t have so who can blame Epic for throwing money at the problem.
