Yup I think I’m going to have to share this a lot, especially with a lot of people here in the States that only know that Hamas sucks (which it does) but don’t know the conditions in Gaza or what Israel has done to exacerbate this situation. It’s the best take I’ve heard on the situation so far. That organization of parents of dead kids from both sides was the first thing to give me hope about this conflict in awhile.
The comment the last guy said was especially poignant. “Were going to have to either share this land, or share the graveyard underneath it.”

The US does send something like billions in monetary and military aid over there which could be spent here so it does kind of affect us over here, but other than that, I agree.

On the other hand, that is within a human lifetime and they’re still expanding their settlements today. It’s not like the bad stuff just happened to people 75 years ago then stopped.
But I wish Israel didn’t help create Hamas. It would be much preferable for a more secular force to help Palestinians that I could put my support in. No one wants to support terrorists, but now Hamas is basically their only option, which sucks. I don’t even like reading about the stuff over there now, it’s all sad and there’s no good solution.

They did seem to kind of lose focus on Pierce as time went time on. In the beginning he was a rich out of touch guy, but would give good advice every now and then still or a word of wisdom from his age. But then, the same thing happened to Britta, who got dumber as the show went on, and Chang, who got crazier as the show went on. It might just be a result of the same Flanderization.

I enjoyed Critical Role but was near the end of the Underdark arc when I started watching VM, so I wasn’t that familiar with the story or group that much, and I enjoyed the show a lot.

I tried to get into game dev by installing Unreal Engine but didn’t really dedicate enough time to really figure it out.
I guess I did get back into console gaming over the pandemic and I’ve definitely kept that hobby up.

You don’t need car insurance until you actually buy a car so you’re good there. It will require being renewed every few years but that’s a lot cheaper than the auto insurance. I say grab it. Like you said, could be useful if you ever need to drive someone in case of an emergency, or want to take over on road trip or something like that.
