It seems pretty evident to me that in the coming decade there is going to be massive world changes… If you have any desire to actually OWN your games in the future, you really need to be burning off GOG Offline Installers of your games.
Imagine WW3 really kicks off, maybe your country gets Nuked, maybe Climate disaster fragments the internet and Steam (or the other “Leasers” of games) goes offline either way. In the grim darkness of the not-so-distant future, will you have your game library intact?
- Comment on Why the Epic Games Store was hated during it's early existence? 1 week ago:
Fuck Epic… And while I’m here, screw Valve as well. You own nothing from all these “Leasers”. If you truly want to archive, preserve, and hand down your games in your will to future generations, you will need GOG offline installers. I burn these on to M-Disc Media that is supposed to last hundreds of years!
I just can’t with Steam anymore… Social media is cancer, Mmos are just about preening about and showing off your fashion. Essentially all the amazing features and functionality of the Steam Client really isn’t needed for the Anti-Capitalist, grumpy old people that generally hate other people, companies, FOMO and silly achievements like I’m a fucking child again.

I would go back further. 400,000 years back, with weapons to eradicate the human species. We are anathema to this planet’s other life. Humans are a toxic disease.
- Comment on Ukraine controls 74 settlements in Russia's Kursk Oblast, Zelensky says 6 months ago:
Why are they called “settlements” specifically? Like, are there not towns & cities in Russia? Why is always worded like something temporary-sounding, settlements?
