  From what I remember, just from small niche forums, most people were just too stunned about it to really be hateful. That’s not a big sample size but I don’t recall many people trying to be edgelords about it, everyone just seemed to read the room and just see that it was fucked up

  I’m referring to something I read last month, iirc, I saw that the magats were planning on attacking their opponents with saying their policies are “communism” because polls have shown that Americans aren’t really alarmed by them saying “socialism” anymore.

  It’s really nice hearing that though, it’s showing that more and more people are getting more open-minded to listening to an alternative to the cesspit of capitalism
