No, I don’t remember anyone saying we shouldn’t have EVs because it would require upgrading the grid. I remember people saying it would require infrastructure upgrades which is just objectively true if you want enough fast chargers.

It’s a loophole for laws on selling body parts. You can’t sell the plasma so you donate the plasma and they pay you for the time it takes to collect, which to be fair is a hell of a lot longer than collecting blood.
