  I started Trails in the Sky on PSP and haven’t been able to stop playing trails games since. Not the best in the series, but definitely where you want to start.

  Yeah I probably would never have even gotten into gaming if it weren’t for consoles. PC games are fun, but gaming on a PC is not for everybody.

  Yeah, I might be an idiot on this, but imo Nintendo and whoever judged this case have committed a far more egregious crime. Nothing Bowser did hurt a single soul anywhere near as much as Nintendo and that judge has decided to hurt him in retaliation. Some numbers were slightly less high as some people might speculate they could have been. That’s it. Fuck Nintendo. Fuck their inhumanity and the same of their judge.

  The PS4 allowed people to choose between frame rate and graphical prowess. The PS4 Pro basically eliminated the necessity to choose. We’re seeing games on PS5 that give you similar options, so I assume a PS5 Pro will also render those preferences unnecessary.

  Is having ray tracing at 60FPS important enough for you to wait? Furthermore, do you have patience if PS5 pros are hard to come by for the first 3-6 months of availability?

  Yeah I get it, but I don’t really mind that sort of stuff. You know what to do, it’s only mildly challenging, traversal is kind of fun. For me it’s relaxing.

  I can’t stand rogue-likes or arena style multiplayer games, so I never touch any of that.

  I’ve generally stopped buying Ubisoft games not because I don’t want to, but because of an issue with my Connect account. I think I had let my PS3 set one up for me back in the AC2 days with an email that is now long defunct (I deleted it after an acquisition that put my privacy at risk).

  Now they want me to verify that email so much that some games have actually refused to let me play. I contacted their “support” to request the option to update my email, proving that the registered email is inactive and that I am in complete control of the linked PlayStation account, but they pretty much told me to kindly F off because they care too much about my privacy (lol).

  I like some Ubisoft games, I just don’t have confidence spending money on anything they publish when I don’t know which ones might preemptively lock me out.

  I figure I’ll just replace the account entirely at some point, but only when there’s a game I absolutely think would be worth the hassle. It just sucks to see my OG account end up trashed over such a dumb reason.

  I think I have this game on switch. I only played a little bit and gave up because I sucked so much. Maybe I should do exactly as you are, get it for cheap on deck and scale down the difficulty to story mode. I've heard it was a good game.

  Some of the graphical details in the trailer make me wonder if this game is getting dumbed down for a switch release, in which case I’ll opt for a steam version over PS5 since it’ll play nicely on Deck.

  My friends brought my kicking and screaming into Unite, then world… it wasn’t until Rise that it finally clicked for me and became fun. Then I went back to world and was blown away.

  I don’t know if this applies to your specific issue, but I’ve encountered situations on other hardware where the system recognizes the change of input device, but the emulators themselves do not. Try going into the emulator’s control settings to see if something needs to be configured there.

  I had my first Chiaki4deck streaming session from my OLED and was blown away by how unnoticeable the latency and clear the image was. It literally felt like I was playing the game native to steam deck. Getting HDR support as well is going to be a real treat.

  Soapbox opinion time. Post spamming to parallel communities across instances is antithetical to federation.

  Post spamming discourages users from federating with parallel communities on federated instances because users feeds end up with congested feeds. This results in reduced engagement across communities and isn’t fair to other contributors who choose not to post spam.

  If a post spammer is concerned about visibility from defederated instances, then I suggest using an instance that federates to more instances. Furthermore, please respect an instance’s choice to defederate from yours if that’s where you choose to be. If your instance was defederated from another, that means the users there do not want to see any posts from your instance, even if you think they do.

  I implore post spammers to reconsider the logic behind their actions, as the impact on the fediverse is more negative than positive.
