- Comment on Club Penguin still gets regular updates. 5 days ago:
Unofficial updates; somewhat of a misleading title.
- Comment on I investigated BBC capture by trans activists. It was worse than I thought 6 days ago:
Unfortunately in many cases there isn’t a viable alternative that bypasses paywalls, but just something to keep in mind. The best compromise is to use something like uBlock Origin that blocks the DDOS script.
- Comment on I investigated BBC capture by trans activists. It was worse than I thought 6 days ago:
Archive.is attempted to DDOS the blog of someone who was looking into the identity of its operator, while also modifying certain pages to include the username of the blog’s owner.
- Comment on I investigated BBC capture by trans activists. It was worse than I thought 6 days ago:
The problematic nature of archive.is aside, there’s not much value to be had in preserving articles propagating transphobia.
- Comment on Hollywood Secures Broad "Omnibus" Pirate Site Blocking Order in UK High Court 1 week ago:
While fully autonomous “agentic AI” systems are not yet known to be widely used in the piracy ecosystem
Adding generative AI to a piracy site would needlessly increase hosting costs; they’re just using AI as a boogie man to get the order they want.

People get addicted to drugs, alcohol, and gambling too; that doesn’t make it good for them.

Racing games are personally not my thing, but thanks for your original contributions to the Threadiverse; it’s refreshing to see hobbyist posts on the platform. 👍

Be the change you want to see; if you’re into FNAF, find or create a community for it, post regular FNAF news as it comes out, and I’m sure you’ll find at least a few people interested in it.
- Comment on StarFox (N64 Remake) Gameplay Reveal 3 weeks ago:
A game that amounts to a graphically enhanced N64 game shouldn’t cost $50.
- Comment on London Marathon: Choir dropped by charity Scope over founder's gender-critical views 5 weeks ago:
That’s the equivalent of continuing to purchase Harry Potter products while condemning J. K. Rowling for her transphobic beliefs. Supporting a transphobe in any capacity only serves to prop them up on an even higher pedestal from which they can disseminate their hateful beliefs; better to find alternatives from those in society capable of common decency.
- Comment on London Marathon: Choir dropped by charity Scope over founder's gender-critical views 5 weeks ago:
It’s meant to hurt you. Women are routinely punished for expressing these kind of views. It’s meant to silence you. It’s meant to make you think twice about speaking up.
If she thinks that about being excluded from involvement in a marathon, how about the voices of transgender people excluded from spaces conforming to their gender on a daily basis?
- Comment on The Moral Dilemma Of Supporting SNK In 2026 5 weeks ago:
Cartridge re-releases for the Neo Geo AES+ are $90, so clearly they’re trying to capture a market segment otherwise being served by emulation.
- Comment on The Moral Dilemma Of Supporting SNK In 2026 5 weeks ago:
It’s not a dilemma if supporting SNK means supporting Saudi human rights abuses. Just emulate the ROMs; dilemma solved.

How creative of them, finding ways to enshittify an already shitty product.
- Comment on Gemini can now create personalized AI images by digging around in Google Photos 1 month ago:
I hate that I have just a shitty quality picture of a picture of that moment.
I’d personally still rather have the authentic moment captured than an AI-polished version of it.
- Comment on French government says au revoir Windows, bienvenue Linux 1 month ago:
Au revoir would imply a desire to use Windows again; salut or adieu would be more fitting.

- Comment on [Video] British journalist Steve Sweeney bombed by Israel while reporting in Lebanon 2 months ago:
Another example of Israel targeting illegally journalists, but it still doesn’t legitimize his position as a Russian propagandist.
- Comment on Microsoft quietly retires 'This is an Xbox' marketing campaign 2 months ago:
The device in the picture is a ROG Ally, not a Steam Deck. Without trackpads it’s a lot less useful, in my opinion.
- Comment on Man wins seatbelt fine court battle as AI traffic cameras face scrutiny 2 months ago:
It’s an insane violation of privacy to use AI-assisted traffic cameras to scan for seatbelt usage.

Including transgender suicides fueled by their failure to protect transgender rights?
- Comment on Starmer’s position on Iran pleases no one, but that is because there are no good options 2 months ago:
Not supporting violations of international law is a pretty good option.

There’s a typo in the title: 583 should be 585.
