You were wrong, unfortunately

Without arguing either for or against the practice, losing feeling is an outdated idea. It’s been studied and shown that circumcised men are just as sensitive as uncircumcised
- Comment on type shit 3 weeks ago:
I didn’t even know I was circumcised at birth until like halfway through highschool and I didn’t really care after finding out. And having now seen penises that are uncircumcised, I’m kinda glad I was. From my perspective, it didn’t hurt and I didn’t even know until now. Everything works perfectly normally.
All of that was a buildup to a genuine question of why do you feel so upset by it? I don’t mean to be argumentative or dismissive, just want to see the point of view from someone else

Uh they already have been murdering democratic politicians. Remember that guy who got beaten with a hammer? Or that couple and their dog who got shot by a dude pretending to be a cop? It has been happening already. Your point is nonexistant

Another fun fact is that liberals scored 20 points at the highest, while conservatives scored a 12. So not only do they only care about themselves, they don’t even care about the people closest to themselves as much as liberals care about people they don’t know
- Comment on I think my sister asked this. But why can't we have a pirate community? Like not teaching how to pirate but just articles on streaming is raising prices, stuff from torrentfreak.com and other things? 5 weeks ago:
Being somewhat new to Lemmy, what are some good instances to use besides? I’m still learning about them, but I’ve heard not so things about .ml?

- Comment on If you give the fae a false name which others would identify you as, can they still use that false name to control you? 5 weeks ago:
Well, in that case, being there are no stupid questions, it would circle back around to be relevant to this community then, no?

Might not be a bad idea to specify which RPG, as there might be already a mechanical answer, or, if not, an answer probably more in line with the general vibe of the RPG you’re playing, rather than just answers relating to the wildly diverse lore/mythology of faelike creatures in general

To be more specific, American farmers vote against handouts and vote for things that ruin the economy, then beg for handouts, then go bust and blame leftists for it

As much as I am glad No Kings had so many people attend it, and I am glad for the small good it does, it barely counts as a protest.
There are no goals, no demands, no threats. It didn’t inconvenience anyone (especially not the people in charge of the country) or cause commotion in the least. It was on a saturday with predefined start and end times.
In other words, it accomplished very little other than potentially being a networking event for like minded people. If everyone who showed up to a No Kings event actually protested, things would be changing the next fucking day

It’s (almost) lyrics from Make a Man Out of You, a song from Disney’s 1998 Mulan. The correct lyric is “With all the strength of a raging fire”

Quick tip: the rag does NOT go into the mouth of the bottle. It goes wrapped or tied to a CLOSED bottle. If the bottle is open and the rag in the opening, you risk splashing the liquid on yourself and your friends when throwing
- Comment on "Palworld is going to be the survival crafting game everyone always wanted" and "people will be shocked" at how big 1.0 is, says Pocketpair publishing lead 1 month ago:
Yeah, as someone who has been playing Pokemon since Pokemon Blue, I don’t see much of a similarity in the monsters from Palworld, other than them having the same inspirations such as a sheep, a cat, an owl and so on. They are “legally distinct” in the same way that the shotgun in Halo is legally distinct from the shotgun in Doom

“You’ve made Nazi comments and been informed of them, then tried to defend them, and haven’t changed your mind… But I still am not sure if you’re a Nazi”
Is basically what you’re saying right now.

Easy, take some of the taxes that’s going to the police and do something useful with them

The differentiation “human” is artificial and made up…
Uh… So the differentiation between ‘cow’ and ‘chicken’ is also artificial and made up, as well as the differentiation between ‘rock’ and ‘jetplane.’
What’s your point?
