I’m glad you found it funny!
As for the show/movie you’re referencing, unfortunately I haven’t watched it.

- Comment on Preparing to leave Discord. How should I back up and purge my message history? 2 weeks ago:
Interesting to see a dedicated SaaS for social media content removal. Unfortunately my message history spans years and I do not wish to purchase its subscription, so it would not be of much help. Thanks for sharing this nonetheless.

- Comment on How do i sync subtitles while watching movies? 4 weeks ago:
I must restate that the option of syncing subtitles by hand is still available in the interface, as mentioned in the post. It is only the question of how to deterministically set the subtitle delay without resorting to tinkering with the controls randomly.
- Comment on How do i sync subtitles while watching movies? 4 weeks ago:
There must be a better way to do this though. I waste too much time tinkering with the syncing at times.
- Comment on How do i sync subtitles while watching movies? 4 weeks ago:
Unfortunately from where I watch movies it is pretty common for the stream and the subtitles to not sync by default as they come from different sources, so syncing them manually is inevitable.
- Comment on How do i sync subtitles while watching movies? 4 weeks ago:
I watch movies online in my browser through uhh… alternative means. Subtitle formats aren’t listed explicitly, though I assume it is .lrc given they are imported from open subtitles.org.

- Comment on Shazam exists btw 4 weeks ago:
I’ve been using Audile in favour of Shazam. As a FOSS app, it works flawlessly and virtually has all the features Shazam has, save for account syncing.

- Comment on Is it theoretically possible to construct a self reproducing mechanical device? 2 months ago:
Sand as a self-replicating device sounds too weird to me but it surprising does tick all the boxes.
Now that I think more about it, that’s actually ingenious! I wish I could upvote you tenfold!
- Comment on Is it theoretically possible to construct a self reproducing mechanical device? 2 months ago:
This is solely to keep the premise of the simple and clear. The device only has one objective: to create a copy of itself. The problem only concerns itself with whether it is theoretically even possible to construct such a device.
- Comment on Is it theoretically possible to construct a self reproducing mechanical device? 2 months ago:
This post focuses on developing a purely mechanical device for the given purpose. Also it does not need to repair itself, it can sustain wear and tear as mentioned in constraint 6. It only needs to be able to create at least one copy that matches it structurally and functionally as stated in constraint 1 and 2.

- Comment on After updating CachyOS, I am unable to play games as easily as before. How do I fix it? 3 months ago:
I haven’t since then. I only did back in May just as a precautionary measure against the multitude of Linux vulnerabilities and exploits being announced that month, else I wouldn’t have bothered.
- Comment on After updating CachyOS, I am unable to play games as easily as before. How do I fix it? 3 months ago:
It’s a recent budget-tier model made for gaming. It may struggle to play AAA games but works exceptionally well for the handful of games I regularly play. Gameplay wise the experience in CachyOS is virtually same as when I used Windows before. The rest of the OS feels snappy and responsive throughout so I don’t have any complaints with that.
