But do our tests measuring IQ adequately measure The ability to acquire, understand, and use knowledge. the ability to learn or understand or to deal with new or trying situations The ability to learn, understand, and make judgments or have opinions that are based on reason ?

Do you expect me to magically know the age of every person I interact with? All this happens because I help newbies try to understand basic game functions and how to play in the server, until it turns out that some of them are clingy or whiney (I know it sounds harsh but it’s true), or lack vision of what they want to do in a sandbox game, and are most likely children, hence why I want to avoid them. But if you really want to play this game, then I’ll say that maybe you have never had a child feel safe around you, that’s why you can’t fathom the possibility of a child following you around.

How is it confusing?

The server is Your Land! You may need to learn a lot at the beginning though, the logic of the world as it has lots of mods, how to deal with the world (the wilderness and nether is way more dangerous than it is Minecraft). You can also pretty much live in the city if you want (and there are multiple!) but of course you get more freedom with builds in the wilderness. There are also events where a mysterious entity calls “Voice” attacks by sending troops in places, but it’s up to you to join those. There are roleplay elements and some people write events in the server like it’s part of some story (esp. with Voice attacks). There is a library for it. I’ve always been looking for sandbox MMORPGs in this level for years so I can’t “play other games” like other people are recommending when I just found something like it.

Most AI do not have senses, right? If it can only predict rather than hold concrete examples as abstract ones and manipulate them in its head then I don’t think it’s thinking in the way a biological species does.

Yep this is an effect of its own, forgot the name though.

I tried saying I was busy doing something, but after a while they would ask if I wasn’t busy anymore. Eventually after a while it feels like I’m being mean.

If you’ve read more of my post or even the title, you’d know that children being in games aren’t my problem. When I was a child I didn’t act this way to other people in servers, I have always been independent, so I don’t know how to deal with clingy children like those.

Almost every game seems to have kid players unless if they’re R-Rated, and even that isn’t enough sometimes. I don’t think shooter games like COD is E-Rated.

The server I’m playing in is not really a 1:1 Minecraft clone, tbh. I guess the best way to describe Luanti (formerly Minetest) nowadays is “voxel-game engine”.

I guess it depends on the cultivar? For example avocado cultivars in my country are more milder and sweeter while in America the avocado cultivars have a stronger taste.

I have ADHD and on the surface it looks like that, but I have something akin to auditory processing disorder, in two ways. Like sometimes I just can’t comprehend what has been said even though I can hear it. Also if I don’t bring my full attention to something I would think that I got the entire verbal command but actually end up not getting parts of it. To the point I ask my teachers to write on the board instead of dictating instructions.

When I read Don Quixote I saw a lot of references to “brain rot” and what was essentially pop culture at the rime ruining people’s perception of the world and I thought it was just funny to send in a quote that literally mentions brain rot

(n.) Supposed deterioration of a person’s mental or intellectual state, especially viewed as a result of overconsumption of material (now particularly online content) considered to be trivial or unchallenging. Also: something characterized as likely to lead to such deterioration.
“The devil take Don Quixote of La Mancha! How did you get this far without dying from all the beatings you’ve received? You’re a madman, and if you were a madman in private, behind the doors of your madness, it wouldn’t be so bad, but you have the attribute of turning everyone who deals with you or talks to you into madmen and fools, too; if you don’t believe me, just look at these gentlemen who are accompanying you. Return, fool, to your house, and look after your estate, your wife, and your children, and stop this nonsense that is rotting your brain and ruining your mind.”

Well I think I just realised why they do it. There’s this longstanding conspiracy theory that whenever a politician does a fuckup they conveniently say keywords associated with the fuckup but put it in a different context (like say, scandal related to trains, so they get into a model train hobby), so if people search up their name plus trains what shows up are articles talking about their new hobby.
Just thought of this because I was searching up “Banana Republic” in the context of neocolonialism (while reading my country’s history) and besides the Wikipedia page being the first result, the next results were that store. And I remembered this reply.

We wont have bananas that taste any good.
Cavendish bananas aren’t the only varieties of bananas that taste good. For example Lakatan and Latundan taste good raw. It’s just they aren’t hardy enough for long-term storage and export. - Comment on Banana 8 months ago:
One epidemic and we won’t have bananas anymore.
Only for a few countries ;)
There’s still a lot of banana varieties eaten around the world. - Comment on Banana 8 months ago:
Idk about Brazil but there’s a lot of banana varieties that are regularly consumed around the world. There’s Lakatan, Saba and Latundan in the Philippines for example, the Saba banana being really popular as a fried snack on a stick.
