I don’t see how, TheMovieDB has been doing it for years.

While different, that’s pretty neat.

Screenshot shows GN will be posting corrections to a webpage, and not in-video, or with video replacement.
-
Previously GN complained about LTT posting corrections in forum and on WAN instead of in-video or with video replacement.
I’m not sure why that’s had to follow…

Huh? Steve’s (great) standards aren’t what disappoints me. It’s the fact that, after complaining about how others handled errors, he’s basically doing it the same way now.
- Comment on Gamers Nexus disappointment :( 1 week ago:
Haha probably should have left this one alone.
- Comment on Gamers Nexus disappointment :( 1 week ago:
Well yea, but my disappointment is even small text is better than putting them on a separate page no one would check.

I don’t think this is the case, as I have seen the same tooling. Maybe there’s something more, but it seems to exist in the dash.

This is true of any window, thermodynamics. Put the foil outside and it will work better. There is a reason shutters are on the outside.

Uhh Gen X… 1961? Close but still boomer.
- Comment on What do you think about the dead internet theory? 2 weeks ago:
Beyond the technical aspect, I don’t see how this is feasible. There are few sites out there supporting just 1.1, and the population using HTTP won’t likely create more. While those using alternatives continue to.

Both sides.

A new internet isn’t even needed, just a new protocol.
Corpos aren’t on Gopher or Gemini, for instance.
- Comment on Me after Jerboa announced it is ending support 2 weeks ago:
I’d be willing to bet at least 50% of respondents in this thread use FDroid and/or Obtainium, and will continue to use side loading.
- Comment on Me after Jerboa announced it is ending support 2 weeks ago:
You can still use FDroid and Obtainium, you just have to enable side loading manually.

A high-speed camera, which took one frame per millisecond, was focused on the borehole because studying the velocity of the plate was deemed scientifically interesting.[8] After the detonation, the plate appeared in only one frame. Regarding its speed Brownlee reckoned that “a lower limit could be calculated by considering the time between frames (and I don’t remember what that was)”, and joked that the best estimate was it was “going like a bat!”[10]
How many could we get now, 10? That would probably be enough. Time machine it is.

- Comment on me looking at my 190 cm/110 kg daddy 2 weeks ago:
True, and my above statement could be due to testosterone reduction with age in many cases. Testosterone levels also have huge variances in men.
- Comment on me looking at my 190 cm/110 kg daddy 2 weeks ago:
Age and activity level plays a big role here. For instance, a 30-40s mildly active man of avg weight might eat less than a smaller 20-30s active woman.
N of 2, but for example my partner (F) is a bit younger than me (M), and also a cyclist (about 3-4 times my volume of riding). She can easily out eat me, and will finish my plate despite being over 20% lighter than me.

Hmm, perhaps. Not sure of this would cover that:
You may not use the API to download data or Content from GitHub for spamming purposes
- Comment on GitHub spammers. 4 weeks ago:
I never said GitHub was leaking me? I said someone who has a GitHub repo is scraping GitHub emails and spamming. Seems like the kind of ToS violation GitHub would want to know about.
- Comment on GitHub spammers. 4 weeks ago:
They can’t stop it, but since it’s a repo on their host I’m sure they would like to know the owner is abusing the system by scraping commit addresses for spam.
- Comment on GitHub spammers. 4 weeks ago:
Yea, it"s scraping as the other commentor mentioned.
