Because I want everyone alive to enjoy living in happiness and peace. Especially those who are the most alienated and lost.

Wow, you could quite easily be replaced with a short non-ai script at this point.

I took pity on you for fun and a bit of practice but you’re a mere novice who is too afraid to look in the mirror and face your own gender nonconformity.
The fool who persists in folly shall become wise, I guess.
- Comment on Metal Exclusionary Radical Astronomy 20 hours ago:
Why do I care if you go through life miserable, isolated and afraid of everyone?
Because I don’t like to see fellow travellers suffering needlessly, particularly when I know only too well what that feels like.
- Comment on Metal Exclusionary Radical Astronomy 20 hours ago:
Sorry that your gender is confusing and you haven’t been able to accept yourself yet.
- Comment on Metal Exclusionary Radical Astronomy 20 hours ago:
Most of your post history is you trying to convince yourself you’re not trans by attacking the people who see right through your protestations as soon as you appear, because you just won’t shut up about sex and gender.
People who aren’t trans don’t spend their days thinking about trans people all the time.
You’re operating in plain sight, you aren’t fooling anyone.
- Comment on Metal Exclusionary Radical Astronomy 20 hours ago:
Nobody needs to “prove” anything because it doesn’t matter how other people experience themselves.
Sorry that you can’t accept yourself and believe others who do accept themselves to be the problem,
- Comment on Metal Exclusionary Radical Astronomy 20 hours ago:
You might as well walk in holding a neon sign saying “I’m trans and haven’t come to terms with it yet because I’m too scared to face it.”
I care if you read it, because in the meantime you are attacking that which you are unable to accept within yourself when you see other people who are totally fine about it within themselves.
I care because you attack a minority that you’re too scared to belong to. Even though you do belong to it already.
Ultimately I don’t personally mind if you remain alienated from yourself forever.
I know you can’t hide that you are trans, and all the time are living a life of extreme paranoia and sadness. You carry on.
You’re not camouflaged at all, so.I’m just letting you know we all see you, plain as day.

Lol nice try… because I’ve got skin in the game, obviously!
You’re not fooling anyone any more. It’s like being bothered about someone else deciding to change their name to “Brian” and then dedicating your life to refusing to call them “Brian” and trying to make sure nobody else will call them “Brian” either by posting online ever day about it.
Doesn’t that seem a little neurotic and obsessive to you?
Like why do you care if someone else wants to be called “Brian” when you too could call yourself “Brian” - or whatever you like instead!?
I’m really sorry you haven’t managed to accept yourself for whoever you are, I’m sure life has been pretty shit for you and I’m sorry. I do understand!
I hope you will find acceptance of yourself because going around in the world being angry that other people are calling themselves “Brian” makes no sense and is doing you no good. It never did!
Live and let live! You are trans and you haven’t come to terms with it. I can spot you a mile off, anybody can! Sorry to break it to you… life is going to be OK, in fact it is going to get better for you. You won’t need to be afraid of yourself or everyone else any more… only of people behaving like yourself here today.
That’s why I care about it.
The saddest thing for you is that you really can just be yourself in 2026 - it’s totally fine to be trans or gender nonconforming… be yourself! So all this stress, anger and bad feeling in your life is all for nothing.
Leave it all behind, feel the weight drop off your whole being! You are trans! Stop hating yourself and have a good life from the moment you just accept who you are! Life is too short to spend your time alive being miserable, making other people’s lives worse.
We see who you are very easily because you give yourself away instantly by attacking your own shadow in front of us, when you could just be enjoying life and being friendly.
You aren’t fooling anyone else and you certainly haven’t managed to fool yourself.
May you find your true self and live in peace.

Why do you care so much? Sounds like you have skin in the game - that’s why others care so much. Sorry that you can’t accept that you are trans yourself. I hope you find peace with it someday.

IMHO Bitwig is a modular synthesis and sound design environment that also contains a full DAW. There’s possibly nothing else quite like it around - I’m not certain, but I’ve looked and not found anything. Notes are events and can be processed or generated in all manner of crazy ways… or just played. Audio can be piped all over the place and processed almost however you want. I think of the stock devices like basic building blocks, like Lego or Minecraft. Once you understand the pattern you can build anything. There are so many ways to work in Bitwig! It’s almost like Ableton but equally it’s almost an unlimited modular synthesizer. It’s very playable too, a real digital instrument. I could probably spend the rest of my life with it and not run out of things to try. It steers away from trying to be a virtual instrument rack like Reason with pretend jack leads, and seems to me to be both incredibly powerful and still very intuitive. It’s the best music making software I’ve come across in 35 years of using music software!

I love synthesizers. Found my salvation in Bitwig Studio and now I don’t even eye up VSTs. (I’ll await my downvotes!)

It is! They’re trying to “compile” insulin on the smaller scale. Not home labs but local production. They haven’t managed it yet but I believe they will eventually.

We could change it to being called a Mountbatten-Windsor but that’s a much lengthier way to say the same thing.

Please support the Open Insulin Foundation who are creating an open source model for insulin production! Such an important project!

I have four kids - thankfully I’m not in the USA. Trust me here? The meltdown isn’t about the cinnamon toast and neither do you have to buy it. Your own rage also isn’t about cinnamon toast, or your kid - these are the triggers not the cause.
Make sure you let your kids know that you love them and you care. Be on their side emotionally, even as you’re saying no to something. Direct your rage at predatory capitalism for your exhaustion, not your kid! They will forget the cinnamon toast but they won’t forget that you were angry with them if it happens a lot. Your relationship with your children is precious and delicate, and not worth wrecking for any amount of money.
Good luck, you are stronger than you know!

Thanks! I’m still a Lemmy account noob though I’ve been lurking for a year. Ex-Reddit - finally deleted my account there, it was time!
Part of what took me so long to sign up for Lemmy was ADHD and trying to choose an instance to join! So in the end I picked a geek/coder/anarcho/punk/egalitarian seeming one.
Hadn’t really thought about people blocking the whole instance. I mostly just like to help answer questions and engage in some online banter.
Is this the point in my Lemmy life where I decide to create a second account on another instance just in case!? Probably, lol!

Oh shit I’m on dbzer0 - just seemed like a good geeky instance. Is it a problematic one? Thx!
