This is one of those beliefs that can lead to a slippery slope. Yes, from an empirical perspective it needs to happen. But are we okay with how it’s likely to happen? Because the path we’re on has the honest and humble proletariat taking the brunt of the blow while the elite lap up the freshly available assets.
Any attempt to alter that trajectory will probably lead to the same tribalistic and knee-jerk violence that breeds authoritarianism and racism and will not further the progressive cause of coexistence.
So no matter what happens, we’ll likely end up in the same place a few hundred years later.
Or maybe I’m wrong?

Oh yeah, Returnal was kickass. I guess I’ll be missing out on that sequel, and that is a shame.

Hey, if they want to miss out on revenue that’s fine. Sony’s efforts have been kind of pathetic this gen anyways — nothing but sequels and live service crap — all the good stuff came out last gen.

Doing acid could change your perception of yourself for the better, if you go in with the right intentions and expectations.
That being said, I’ve never done acid or shrooms, although I very much want to.

Good honestly, we don’t need another generation yet. Constraints are good for innovation.

In Hades II, there is a zone which has sentient gold bag enemies and flood littered with gold. Neither of these things provide you gold apart from standard drop rates.

Oh I drove a Saturn sky and wrecked it. That car was fun but I was to young to properly gauge its quality.

Even a shitty sports car is a blast. I had a lot of fun in my manual BRZ.
- Comment on il boohoo 3 months ago:
To an extent, yes. But that’s because you can’t use the car for its intended purpose at a stoplight or grid of roads. I guarantee you when that driver takes his car to the curvy mountain roads he is grinning ear to ear, or having a hell of a time at the very least.

My favorite part of Moby Dick is the chapter titled The Prairie. In it,
Melville basically attributes the size/wrinkles in a forehead to the wisdom/greatness of that being. He says goes on to list influential men with big, wrinkled foreheads (Shakespeare, as an example), compares the undulations in these wise men’s foreheads to the undulations of a prairie and their splendor, and then asks the reader to consider the gravitas of a Sperm Whale’s forehead.
It’s literally the best fucking thing I’ve ever read and it’s crazy that nobody else lauds this passage as I do.

It is the book that completely changed the way I view literature. My favorite book of all time. It is beautiful, funny, bizarre, and tragic.
