Also the player character has 600 lbs of military weaponry on their person. The door’s locked? Have you considered using the RPG or high explosives in your back pocket?

Yep. Don’t need all the bells and whistles. On top of that it was incredibly reliable and fuel efficient since there wasn’t much to it.

Yeah no kidding.

In Ontario. It was my first car, so 10 years ago, so not quite the same market as today. It was a '96 Tercel. No AC option, no airbags, no ABS, no cruise control, crank windows, manual locks, manual transmission. Needed brake lines and a windshield.

The closest grocery store is 1.5 hour walk. I’m not doing that in a Canadian winter or with hands full of groceries. And no, it’s not bikeable 5 months a year.
Also, I’ve bought four cars in my lifetime. I spent a combined $13,000 on them. My first car was $1400 and I still have it.

I hate new design trends and overweight cars as much as anybody else, but roll cages make a vehicle less safe unless paired with a helmet, neck restraint, and a harness.

I think it depends if the remaining pieces are at all identifiable as the original thing. If the blown up car still has four wheels and a motor, you’d probably call it a blown up car. If it’s been reduced to tiny fragments of metal and glass and rubber it’d just be debris.

Imagine how fast that guy could go if he devoted his life to building performance accessibility aids instead of pursuing physics. He probably would have robotic cybernetic legs that outperformed any human runners.

Yeah that is true.

Communication doesn’t mean you can breed them. I can communicate with you and someone else but it doesn’t mean that I can convince you to breed.

- Sell gravel. Become rich.
- If no cooldown you can spam and teleport anywhere as long as there’s a path between A and B
- Not sure.
- Turning on every toaster in the world at the same time would probably cripple the various power grids globally.
- If it stacks you could look quite young.
- Could probably make some money checking if safes are empty or not. Doesn’t say anything about distance. Could remotely check containers for people. Depends as well on the definition of empty.
- Would be hugely beneficial to some archeologists.
- For anyone who is unable to walk currently this would be good. What happens if you cut your legs off? Can you fly afterwards?

I am surprised there is no DRM “approved” OEM brake pads. You already have to plug your brake pads in for the brake pad wear sensor for some cars. Wouldn’t be a stretch to run another wire and have a chip to identify itself so you can “keep yourself safe” by using OEM pads.
