  Here’s a little something else to think of. The government is shut down, so the purse strings are closed. And yet, a private “donation” is being given to the military. By a man who apparently has a problem with Venezuela. At the same time the world’s most powerful warship, along with its associated battle group, are headed to the Caribbean to play drug cop.

  The statistics tracked by the machine are specific to that machine alone and do not differentiate between individual players. Without a separate player tracking system, the casino has no way of tracking the play of individual players, just the total play by all players on a machine.

  If you look at the point where the “I-Deck” (the horizontal touch screen that is about waist high) meets the main body of the cabinet, you’ll see what looks like a tiny display. That display is a part in of the “player tracking” system.

  I’ve installed countless numbers of them in my time as a slot tech, some of them on the Everi Empire Flex, the slot cabinet pictured.
