just look up their acquisitions and then look up what happened to those studios
- Comment on Embracer has reduced its workforce by over 1800 people in the past year 2 weeks ago:
embracer and their ilk ruined games development for everyone who just wanted a job and not to have to put together an entire indie studio
the damage they’ve done to the industry and the middle class is incalculable in its immensity
there are fewer good games and drastically fewer good jobs because of Embracer

it’s because those were Henson workshop characters and they i think they tried pretty hard to make cool, PG-rated, kid friendly designs
anyway there are racist ghosts in the videogames, you bust Confederates

do they understand mortality or what
- Comment on AI Training Slop 5 weeks ago:
the cool thing about consent is that you’re allowed to attack everyone who pretends it isn’t real with any amount of force
- Comment on "Official" Russian Military game depicting invasion of Ukraine released on Steam as Yunarmy propaganda 1 month ago:
I don’t think they remove military propaganda from Steam. Fascist military sims from fascist countries are specifically allowed.

- Comment on Yes, AI will eventually replace some workers. But that day is still a long way off 1 month ago:
The premise that AI enhances search is false. The stated barriers to “AI” adoption for small businesses are dated and false. The statement that LLMs and associated technology will become more accurate and reliable is false.
The accurate statement in the article, that AI has no impact on earnings or hours, is from an outside source.
So you see there is nothing of value provided by the article itself, because the article is propaganda designed to convince you that LLMs have a productive future and are presently useful for applications such as search. These are both lies. The article is lying.
- Comment on Yes, AI will eventually replace some workers. But that day is still a long way off 1 month ago:
This is not accurate. You shouldn’t spread corpo propaganda.
- Comment on Yes, AI will eventually replace some workers. But that day is still a long way off 1 month ago:
LLMs do not enhance search. Search is worse than it has ever been. Pure non-techie drivel.
- Comment on ‘AI is already eating its own’: Prompt engineering is quickly going extinct 2 months ago:
wow so LLMs were just another dangerous anti-labor fad huh
if only this had been completely obvious to anyone who actually reads about how models work since a decade ago

“why doesn’t my compliance drivel feature class consciousness”
- Comment on BBC Greenlights “Real Life ‘Black Mirror'” Doc About Artificial Intelligence 2 months ago:
sure, why not
if people want to tune in for over-produced infomercials to tell them what to think of chatbots, whatever
you could publish the actual papers and blogs you’d need to understand LLM in a free magazine and drop it at every door in the English-speaking world and maybe 4 additional people would read it
this is a halloween special for dunces

You gain legal protections against being forced to testify against one another.
Just go do it at court on the cheap and throw a party.
- Comment on Did the western world just suddenly go back to pretending wrestling is "real" for some reason? 2 months ago:
WWE is less wrestling and more a glorification vehicle for the MacMahon syndicate. All the real pro wrestling is on AEW or the circuits now.

- Comment on Fake job seekers are flooding U.S. companies that are hiring for remote positions, tech CEOs say 2 months ago:
“simply collecting a salary they wouldn’t otherwise be able to” yes that’s the basic concept of working for a company, thank you
Personally I think it is cool that capitalists are getting fooled by their own garbage products. Most of these companies produce nothing of real value and contribute nothing but suffering and toil to society.
