But at-last the lessons of what the Christians call “armageddon”, these next 6-decades, will be significant..
Once the tippingpoint’s crossed, I expect the Regional Consolidation Time to be Trump ditching/ignoring all the rest of the world except for his wars on conquering the Americas. ALL of them. Civil War Part2: confederate reverse-takeover & vengeance .. will only be a sub-plot, not the whole thing.
About 1/2-way through the 7-y cycle, I expect him to be replaced with Musk.
The problem isn’t them: the problem is humankind’s collective-unconscious-mind’s ego-games, its “apocalypse” “proving its ego’s IMPORTANCE”, that “nothing is more god than ego’s TANTRUM/POGROM is!!”.
So, fundamentally, it’s The Great Filter: our underlying toddler-nature breaking the world to “beat god and make god obey!!”.

Does anybody understand that preventing genociding in Palestine would have required about 6+decades of the UN being the only gov’t there, & NO ideology imprinting anybody, not through education, not through prejudice, not through abuse, not through apartheid, not on either side!
& keep holding that, generation after generation, until the prejudices were extingushed-sufficiently.
No other path could have worked.
Making-believing, while accommodating ideological-prejudice’s perpetual self-entrenchment sure as hell didn’t work!

It takes decades to create a population who can do correct-reasoning, & who is loyal-to/valuing-of it.
It takes only months to eradicate that, replacing it with ideological-prejudice.

The brain-system driving correct-reasoning & objectivity is the recentest part of the brain, the outer cortex ( top of brain, btw ).
the problem isn’t local: it’s racial. Whole-species.
Humankind’s fighting-off moral-anxiety & correct-reasoning & objectivity by digging-into programmed-reacting, animal-"reasoning”, ideology, prejudice, & ideological-"morality”.
& about 9/10 of humankind’s on the side of ideology, from the looks of things.

Some are brilliant at it ( & the writers for that TV-show, Mad Men, iirc, were mostly women, simply because women are better than men at writing such drama ), & most are not.
Why should imitations-of-us be better at it than we are?

It was fundamentally different from Catholic confession ( yes, this is related to your point ).
Confession was recommended, but it didn’t say confession to someone.
It may have implied confession to one’s team/community.
It absolutely did not orient any such thing to any church-official.
I’ve found that confessing to LivingSpirit helps.
Research has discovered that it doesn’t matter what one surrenders-to/relies-on, it can be a soccer-ball, an imaginary-friend, or LivingSpirit as I do, but doing that with someone ( from your perspective ) massively empowers lives in breaking addiction, as 1 objective change-in-life.
( see Baumeister’s “Willpower”, & note that while he gives what the evidence says, he rejects it, himself )
Confessing socially I consider narcissistic.
However, there’s another angle to it: it may help others to see that they’re not-alone in their failings.
& that is valuable.

IF a soul/continuum has being-a-horrible-monster in its nature, & it wants to explore that, THEN all it has to do is catch-in a world where monsters are currently happening, & then explore that meaning.
There are countless worlds, in the endless-stream-of-universes..
some are currently hellworlds, some currently paradises, some in between.
The majority of the souls who’ve caught in this-world’s human-category-lives want ideological-reacting instead of upright correct-reasoning.
So?
IF that’s what humankind wants .. THEN it’s humankind’s right to persue enforcing ideological-reacting, until humankind’s extinguished from this world.
Then humankind’s “entitlement” will have no “home”, & universe won’t care.
Then those-souls .. will have to try again, on some other world.
Endlessly, forever, until they grow-up.
Endless-stream-of-universes is perfectly efficient & effective, & has NOTHING to do with “religion”.
It’s just a mechanism in-which souls explore meanings.
Souls currently caught-in the lives of monsters, on worlds that are having those, included.
Why would it be “a problem” for others to have other values?
Ideological-homogeneity may be your idea of heaven, but MOST of the world doesn’t want to be homogeneous with you or me.

- Lower-Working

Upper-class do not have a “job position": they hire middle-class people, like hired-dogs, to get specific jobs done.
The sycophantism to the upper-class is real.
You can see upper-class behavior among some top upper-middle-class people, when they intentionally walk too-slow, so as to force everybody all around them to pace-match them, “showing their importance”.. ( I’ve seen that, repeatedly, on a deputy-minister, at one site I worked, years ago )

Sometimes you have to save your own life, even letting the collective die, in THIS battle, for sake of becoming indestructible in future-battles, throughout the rest of the war.

This is what I think Stephen R. Covey didn’t understand in his interdependency principle.
I think too-much of our world is codependent, not interdependent, & that it takes REAL independence -of-validity before one can get into actual interdependent-collaboration-synergy.
There’s a metaphor given by Kelsang Gyatso, in 1 of his books, which gets it right:
There are 3 ways of helping people, & these phrasings are mine, not his:
- the self-conqueror, who can coerce an entire kingdom into working right, in spite of entrenched corruption/rot/whatever
- the shepherd, who can lead many, but who is only slightly above them, so the shepherd can be indirectly or directly defeated by their lack of self-conquering: they are less-helpless, but they aren’t anywhere near the self-conqueror level.
- the ferry-pilot, who helps a couple of people at a time, & then goes back to find a few more to help.
In my experience, only the self-conqueror is robust: all the lesser kinds of help are helpless when opponent-force gets great-enough, or acts through great-enough leverage/torque.
Therefore, I want, and am aiming-for, TOTAL breaking of all the PTSD, all the damage embedded in me by ideology’s & prejudice’s ( including medical-profession’s ) gaslighting & abuse, all the harm embedded in me by medical-culture’s narcissism in parenting & “parenting”, ALL of it.
I want THIS LIFE unbroken.
& if people say I should enslave/snuff my potential to short-term/consensus/social-momentary-victory, then fine: hate, contempt, & reject my presumed alternative, as nearly-all already do.
But all I have to do is win, & then the rules changed, permanently, completely, & then this-life is in the next-level-up, & cannot be crushed by the masses wielded by the ideologies/prejudices/etc.
Getting permabanned by many instances, by many communities, because I value integrity more than I value political-belonging, is normal.
But every time I ratchet this-life’s objectivity+integrity a bit harder in the right-direction, that puts a little more good-change in me.
& sooner or later that tipping-point’s going to get crossed, & the brokenness hobbling my unconscious-mind is itself going to fail/break.
Then the game is changed.
That potential is to me real.
To all others, it is mere-delusion/lies: it never was real, & it never can be real.
So, the world bets its way, & I bet my way.
Universe will decide which is, in its eyes, true.

That was one of the most-depressing things I’ve ever read.
Mere toddlers are already programmed by our culture into dumbing themselves down, & we’re blind to that, by default??
Makes our whole population significantly less-viable, in this century, that’s for sure.

Some of us sometimes, & others all-the-time, remove the auto-upvote, so that our posts/comments get dealt-with neutrally:
Bandwagon-jumpers tend to downvote comments/posts which have balance-is-downvote on them.
Others do the same for upvotes.
I often find I’m voting against the herd, simplly because what I’m upvoting is an actual-point, & is impacting our world, even though what-it-is that is being pointed-out isn’t “politically acceptable” to say.
Generally I upvote MUCH more than I downvote, but as Nick Yee discovered, in his Gamer Motivations research, some people are very social, but they’re very ANTI-social: they like destroying what others are valuing.
So, it comes down to the individual-person’s motivations, AND it comes down to their frame-of-reference, both: they are independent dimensions to consider.

Tylenol is aweful, to some degree a poison:
it’s known to significantly increase liver-cancer.
Mom used it instead of the asperine/advil type of chemicals, for that, & died of TWO kinds of liver-cancer, simultaneously ( which is something that doesn’t happen, in normal nature ).
I’m absolutely against outlawing it, because people who’re allergic to the asperine/advil family of medication HAVE to have an alternative, but .. holy moley, is that stuff aweful.
RFK’s worse, though: weaponized incompetence force-dismantling what objectivity there had been, from medicine..

The Christians have, in their bible's book of Revelation, a prophecy about plagues getting our world, right?
Trump's removal of the world's pandemic-mitigation-system is the cause of that prophecy needlessly being fulfilled.
( Scientifically-Testable-Prediction, whether made by "scientist" or "engineer" or ANYbody..
I'm Empiricist, so I don't care what "source" it is who made a prediction, I care only IF it tests-to-be-true.
