Unfortunately, console storage and memory prices have increased by more than 2.5x and we expect another doubling by the fall of 2027.
please make it stop

wow that’s bad, Apple also increased prices a lot today www.macrumors.com/…/apple-just-increased-prices/

Maybe they can be imported to the Fediverse

I believe it appends the Steam ID number to the folder name when there’s a conflict

I loved the original and Before the Storm. I guess I’ll have to try this one too

If you add a rough trendline since Win10 EoL then 5% is pretty reasonable

Last month had Chinese New Year in it, and apparently China isn’t big on Linux

I never said “every” or “none” on either side.

The majority of AAA/high end games run at lower internal resolutions and/or frame rates on PS5/XSX. Otherwise PSSR would not have been a hyped marketing feature, they’d just run games at native 4k on PS5 Pro, but no, it needs PSSR.
- Comment on Nvidia GeForce Now’s Time Limit Will Stop Gamers After 100 Hours Each Month 6 months ago:
The deck is weak yeah, much weaker, so there’s no need to embellish. PS5 runs plenty of games even below 1080p/60fps. Output is rarely the same as the actual rendering resolution.

What console does 4k/240hz?? Even PS5 Pro can’t do 4k/60fps in most games, Digital Foundry does pixel counting and frame rate tests

I haven’t played all these but they look cool, maybe worth checking out: Pumpkin Jack, Spark the Electric Jester 3, and Sonic Robo Blast 2 (it’s free, not on Steam)

I agree with the other comment that this is kinda clickbait. Just make an honest post to one of the open source games communities and don’t try to be sneaky about it

I think to an extent yes, but not quite as bad as Reddit. Reddit admins will completely ignore reports about these. I think most Fediverse admins won’t ignore them.

I loved my 3DS. And yeah it’s actually pocket sized, unlike the Switch or Steam Deck. I’m still not sure about the choice of the 3D screen instead of just making it higher resolution lol, a higher resolution DS would’ve been good too. The 3D effect was cool but kind of a gimmick.

I was really surprised at the price difference. Win11 Home adds $140 to the laptop cost? I would’ve expected $100, but damn.
