Phantasy Star Online, especially with private servers

Gauntlet (2014) if you count it as a sequel to Legends and Dark Legacy, is a big disappointment. I think simple games can be fine but this is just too simple. Legends just barely had enough depth to be good, and then they go and make something simpler.

Deus Ex Human Revolution might be the best game that I hate lol
It’s just not close to as good as the original and it still gets so much praise. They dropped so much of the strategy and depth of Deus Ex. It doesn’t hold up nearly as well on repeat playthroughs.
- Comment on [deleted] 5 days ago:
just open source them all and let the community combine them into PSO Ultimate lol
- Comment on [deleted] 5 days ago:
Phantasy Star Universe was honestly a better successor. It had a pretty fun single player story too.

Max Payne 3 was really disappointing compared to 1&2.
Phantasy Star Online 2 never hit me like PSO, maybe it’s the pace of the game

Players can jump into the following games on PC and supported handheld devices beginning today in supported regions:
- BLiNX: The Time Sweeper
- Conker: Live and Reloaded
- Crimson Skies®: High Road to Revenge
- Fuzion Frenzy®
Each of these games is now available for purchase on PC and also included with all XBOX Game Pass plans. If you already own a digital license for these games on console, that license now carries over to your PC or handheld.

Unfortunately, console storage and memory prices have increased by more than 2.5x and we expect another doubling by the fall of 2027.
please make it stop

The majority of AAA/high end games run at lower internal resolutions and/or frame rates on PS5/XSX. Otherwise PSSR would not have been a hyped marketing feature, they’d just run games at native 4k on PS5 Pro, but no, it needs PSSR.
