- Comment on Why hasn't congress passed a law saying that you can only deport people *back to their own country*? 2 weeks ago:
I agree, but courts have been partisan for a while. See judge Cannon’s handling of Trumps documents case and the supreme Courts handling of his freaking insurrection.
I understand the way things are supposed to be. But it’s not the way they are. Courts are going to have to decide which side of history they are on.

Fascists are good at using the fact that their opponents need to uphold the law against them.
Your comment is correct as much as I hate it. But to the quoted portion, their opponents don’t need to. They choose to. And it drives me insane that they think that we can operate within the system the fascists are actively ignoring to fix this. The “normal way” things are done is gone, it’s time to stand firm and take action.

- Comment on How likely is it that Trump will be the first President assassinated since Kennedy? 4 weeks ago:
Anything that might get Trump would probably have to be powerful enough to take out a whole crowd, and that’s just very unlikely.
Hard disagree, Ukraine takes consumer drones and turns them into pinpoint bombers or ultra fast suicide drones.
IMO the only reason political violence hasn’t been more common is people afraid of losing what they have. But they’re soon to lose it anyway.
- Comment on 6* months away now. If you're on 10, do you plan to upgrade? Make the jump to Linux? 4 weeks ago:
Well the thing is, we don’t know. Maybe 10 is patched so well that no one is hanging onto a major exploit just waiting for EOL. Or so well that no new major exploits are found (extremely unlikely). Then so long as you’re just gaming or watching YouTube it doesn’t really matter.
But someone could be holding onto one or someone could stumble into one. And all it takes is one.

No no surely making the rich richer will help, it’s done so great the last 50 years!
- Comment on I hate the modern web 1 month ago:
It is. What helped me was deleting my account and removing my patched boost app. Now I only browse it through mobile Firefox with ublock.
It’s annoying as shit to use, so I don’t use it often. But when I do they get nothing from me. Win-win.
- Comment on Why aren't there mass protests in the USA? 1 month ago:
50501 is very active, we’re hitting the streets all the time. I’ve been at a demonstration almost every week for the past month and a half. Please, join us!
- Comment on How likely is the US government going to identify and arrest every online user who have disagreed with the current administration? 1 month ago:
Lots of states allow private sales with no background checks required. People should see if they live in/near one.
If so hop on mewe, or some other social site, grab some cash and get you one! Gun shows are awesome for this too.
