You have to offer free returns for top rated seller status. It puts you higher up in searches.

Not in the winter. They can’t do it during the cold months in many states. Everyone stop paying in the beginning of winter.

If you buy on eBay they are required to send items with tracking. No tracking means you can just ask for a refund and you’ll receive it automatically since they can’t provide a tracking number. The major carriers also do rate adjustments if the seller tries to underpay for packages by listing the wrong weight. Unfortunately as a seller this also means that you have to watch for erroneous weight adjustments and contest them when they crop up. I think it happens when your package is sitting on top of another package when it goes under the automated photo system.
I’ve never had an issue with receiving a package from eBay and I buy and sell on there all the time. I had one package I shipped get lost, I had another I sent through eBays international forwarding service (Pitney Bowes) who said they wouldn’t forward it because of the materials in the item. It was not listed as a prohibited item and isn’t prohibited to ship internationally, I got to keep the money and the buyer got a refund.

You have nothing to worry about. There’s a handful of areas across the country with people who are outwardly racist, these places are nowhere anybody would ever have a reason to visit on vacation. It’s not the norm. If you have a weird accent most people will immediately be welcoming.

There is a disgusting amount of lobbying and corruption in the agricultural industry. However, food security is an important part of a country. You wouldn’t want to completely rely on other countries for food.
- Comment on How is TikTok being blocked in the US? 1 week ago:
No app store download and no hosting in the u.s. Even if they weren’t blocking u s. Users the amount of video traffic suddenly hitting their servers outside the country would cripple their infrastructure and seriously hinder other Internet traffic. Since net neutrality doesn’t exist anymore, ISPs can be paid to block it or seriously cripple it.
Still totally legal to install the app and access the content. However the same content will be reposted to other platforms which will be a great passive revenue stream for someone.

I wound up cannibalizing a bridge rectifier from some old electronics and making an a/c to d/c adapter so I could do close up photography. I labeled it “lights only! 120v d/c” but I’m also the only person with access to it.

I sell on ebay and while I don’t go that far out if my way I do put a little thank you stamp on the packing slip, make sure everything is packed correctly and I go out of my way to make sure that the item is shipped either same day or next day if they order later in the day. People are always grateful that they get their items so fast. I often ask spare parts for things, but even things like cassette tapes I imagine that they want it for the weekend or it’s for a gift for someone.
