It could be fun to have a community design competition and have those designs available as well.

A lot of people use shopify and then have the orders fulfilled by one if the many print on demand services. So once the store is set up then it’s basically on auto pilot as far as I can tell.
I’ve never done it before, but they make it pretty easy to set up a store and collect payments.
Shopify is a Canadian company so that isn’t an issue in the current political climate, but I’m unaware of any other issues people might have with the company.

That makes sense. You could always set up a simple print to order site and slap the Lemmy mouse on a bunch of stuff. I’d definitely buy something.

I had made the suggestion to them that they could start offering some kind of managed hosting services for people running instances. I have a couple of instances running with a hosting provider. If I could have them running with the support of the devs then that would be awesome.

- Comment on Who should america be more concerned about MS-13 or Russia? 3 weeks ago:
Glorifying gang culture was really popular in the 90’s-2000’s so I was definately slightly aware of ms-13 from someplace. Maybe law and order or some other show mentioned it. I was never really aware of DT until he ran for president.

India is also in Asia

Your account is too new and all you do is request communities

The amount of guns mechanics find just casually sitting around in customers cars is appalling. They get stolen because people leave guns in their cars and used for crimes.
- Comment on Can I sue my apartment management company? 4 weeks ago:
Look up state laws about deposit timeframes. If they don’t return the deposit, then file a small claims lawsuit. Super easy to do, usually you can do it online. If you’re moving out of the area then you’ll have a hard time doing it because you usually have to appear in person.

- Comment on From a purely political perspective, if you oppose the US tariffs as a US resident, should you buy or avoid buying products subject to tariffs? 5 weeks ago:
Full economic boycott to teach these mooks a hard lesson. Buy used, including car parts and cars. Switch to a local credit union. Pay cash whenever possible so the cc companies don’t get their cut. Buy from locally owned places, but they could be owned by one of the nutters. Sell your unwanted items or give them to worthwhile charities or directly. Go to your library and cancel streaming services.

Increase contributions to retirement and other savings accounts like HSA and college funds.

If you’re going to retire in the next ten years you shouldn’t have ao much money in the atock market. If you’re young then this is a fire sale.
Big donors who wanted this own large private businesses and have very little market exposure.

It does have the lowest ratimg on imdb. A lot of people are sayimg the same things as I am. I did watch it on my phone because the audio on my tv setup was too hard to hear. I used good wired headphones.

It could be condensed way down and intertwined into the episodes before and after it. It was extremely dry.

Watching someone take a nap and breathe heavily and directly into their microphone in a soap opera style episode is not good.

It was five minutes worth of content stretched into 45 minutes. It was boring af. We learned that she >! Designed the concept of severence.

Because every popular show gets milked to death and executives start interjecting stupid ideas and ruin it. They already had a filler episode in season 2.

McDonald’s workers don’t make $30k in a rural area either. You can get a way better job in a city. Where you gonna go in a small town?
- Comment on Why dont more people live in smaller communities , appart from economic opportunity (WFH is making it possible if not prefferable too) 5 weeks ago:
A $30k person in a town could be making $60k in a city. With two incomes, that’s an extra $30k/yr.
- Comment on Why dont more people live in smaller communities , appart from economic opportunity (WFH is making it possible if not prefferable too) 5 weeks ago:
Only certain things cost more in cities like housing. Other things are basically the same price, especially with online options. You get paid more, which means your 401k match is more money. There’s more opportunities in cities and services like schools are generally much better because of better funding.
Yeah, if you’re childfree and wfh, it’s probably worth it to move to a lcol area. But there are a lot of things to consider.

I wish severence would have ended at season 2, exactly the way it did. I’m bracing for dissapointment.

There should be a target date fund, do that. It automatically rebalances as you reach your target date. So if you plan to retire in 2050, pick the 2050 fund.

Look them up on ebay/marketplace/mercari, give to friends or free group on fb, donate to good local charity, dump junk at goodwill, garbage. All in that order
