This constitutes a period of British policy which we now know as “Ass Harm”, harm perpetuated by asses

I’m assuming “ass harmful” is a typo but prefer to believe it’s an historian term applied to British ideological aims

My understanding is the Tories actually tried to provide relief by importing food which was discontinued by the liberals. So more PM Russell who fucked up.

Labour has completely ignored this community from the get-go, and failed to consult with them at every step of the way Dame Priti Patel, shadow foreign secretary
She doesn’t care about the Chagossians, she just wants the UK to keep sovereignty over the islands.
Honestly though, I’m completely confused by this whole thing. Some Chagossians are settled in the UK now and some live in Mauritius. They do seem to be excluded from this negotiation though and I wonder what the point is. If the Chagossians aren’t going to be properly represented by Mauritius either then what’s the point in transferring sovereignty to Mauritius.
Mauritius, UK and US are all complicit in this bullshit.

Most of the fossil fuels we burn today date back to the Paleozoic Era, which predates the dinosaurs. Further, you now know that most of these oils came from ocean deposits.
This suggests dinosaurs had little or nothing to do with the development of fossil fuels. Dinosaurs lived on dry land.
