My only interest is to buy an used PS5 and now I can’t because the market is overpriced due to the hype about GTA, I hope it will end in just one year.

PS4 pro shouldn’t be able to read UHD BDs; the cheapest option is Xbox One S.
- Comment on Sony lawyers argue that nobody is stupid enough to believe they actually own digital games, because then only one person could buy GTA 6 1 week ago:
Owning in this context is such a relative term, I don’t technically own my physical games still I can play it forever during my lifetime because nobody can stop me in reproduce datas on it: physical is important for this reason (excluding dumb editions with partial game on it, thanks to doesitplay.org for the info about that); digital rights are obviously needed but most of the commenters seems to ignore this argument.

Thanks for sharing. I never judge from trailers but I don’t think they will release a demo: it looks good but also the same GTA stuff, I was hoping for something more audacious and instead it seems innocuous at a narrative level. Maybe the first boring GTA? I think it will sell very good since it targets normies for the most but I’m very curious to read the critique when playtested.
- Comment on GOG seemingly shares that they are considering physical PC 'big box' games. Maybe? 2 months ago:
Every time I read this fake ecological motivation I aks myself why people think we can save the planet without some plastic and paper jn a little box of human art, instead of considering real problems like big industry procedures and food packaging. Priorities.
- Comment on GOG seemingly shares that they are considering physical PC 'big box' games. Maybe? 2 months ago:
It would be fucking awesome. I can totally see others doing this in the future but GOG is the perfect player for selling drm-free physical stuff at the moment. People who think “full digital is the inevitabile future everything” are just sad analysts watching their own garden, we already know PS5 selling datas were manipulated from Sony, people need physical like any other art medium.

I can see third party companies for this since Valve is probably the last one who wants you to not buy digital.

The problem with LRG and similar is the limited factor, we don’t need another scalper paradise but more prints and aviability.
- Comment on Time to bring back physical media on PC? 2 months ago:
People still by cds and vinyls, I don’t think is fair to compare today with the apex of physical media, an adjustment in numbers is inevitable.
- Comment on Time to bring back physical media on PC? 2 months ago:
Yes I think we can exclude the old-days mass distribution but I think a more niche physical pc market could potentially be profitable in the future
- Comment on Time to bring back physical media on PC? 2 months ago:
I think drm-free indie oriented publishers like Annapurna could make a lot of money with physical copies.

The problem is multiplayer competition, which is comparable to gambling addiction.

Shaders are good when used properly, usually not in 16:9 1080p LCDs; old hardware is relatively cheap and emulation not very faithful. On controller side looks like there’s an 8bitdo controller but I’m not informed, I just need a way to control X-axis.

And emulation still isn’t perfect, I’m considering to buy it one for my crt.

Wii isn’t meant for hd you should consider WiiU for that. I have my Wii for my CRT and the 240p output is very good.
- Comment on GOG when available, but what should I choose between PS5 physical and Steam when not? 2 months ago:
PS5 retail should be priority, when only digital Steam is a superior service also for linux support.

Not true, many PS5 videogames are on discs and playable offline in the initial release.

I have a ps3, great console, I still have to find a reason to mod it since blurays are very cheap. PSP looks interesting! I’m prioritizing to mod a PS2 these days.

Many retail games still allow you to have the full game without any account to a service or internet connection.
