Not a great article. While it was mostly objective about the situation, it did not quote anyone but the developer, giving him complete control over the narrative, and links to many other articles about “rejecting wokeism”.

Almost all contain nickel and nickel allergies are common. I have it!
- Comment on fwiends 1 month ago:
You may be allergic to the metal (IIRC nickel) in normal metal glasses if that’s what you have. For people with that, which is common, titanium is the only metal kind that will work.

At least on r/Firefox, that was partly due to an enormous uplift by the moderators to keep it not toxic. I become a moderator there specifically because of the pervasive anti-Mozilla toxicity.

As the former head moderator of r/Firefox… We inherited this from reddit.

Greentext isn’t evidence…
- Comment on Supportive dad 2 months ago:
There isn’t any evidence that that happens (non trans people receiving gender affirming care based on a false view that they are trans)

- Comment on Nintendo filed a lawsuit against Pocketpair, Inc. 2 months ago:
Since this was filed in Japan, it would have to be parents Nintendo own in Japan that are infringed and those don’t necessarily perfectly match those in the US
- Comment on Nintendo filed a lawsuit against Pocketpair, Inc. 2 months ago:
They said patent violations, not copyright, so it is about some sort of mechanic or system and not the pals or any specific designs. I’m guessing the thrown ball capture system, since it seems no other developers have published anything using that specifically.

We are born trans. The current theory is that it relates to hormonal fluctuations during critical points of fetal development, so the start is literally before you are born.
- Comment on Supportive dad 2 months ago:
They are trans, presumably she/her pronouns given we know they were AMAB.
- Comment on Supportive dad 2 months ago:
a big reason that drove me was that I have a micropenis
Fake. There are no “reasons to drive someone” other than their internal gender, this sounds like something a cis person who thinks being trans is a choice would say.

Direct democracy doesn’t only not contradict with anarchism, it is a core tenant of anarchism. After all, how do we get rid of unjustified hierarchy without creating a hierarchy free form or rulership?
- Comment on If you have sex with a clone of yourself, is it incest? 2 months ago:
All it would take is supplementing hormones at several points in development so that it develops its gonads and mind the other way.
- Comment on Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford says his hopes on Epic Store were 'overly optimistic or misplaced' 2 months ago:
Decky itself is fine, some plugins are buggy. If you install it and Junk-Store, you should be fine with no problems. I run like a dozen plugins and I only ever had problems with the UI customization ones: css, and animation changer. I uninstalled those and it’s all passive now.
I’ve only had problems with one game from Epic. The rest worked just fine with no tweaks
- Comment on Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford says his hopes on Epic Store were 'overly optimistic or misplaced' 2 months ago:
Sure, it’s a plugin through Decky. It allows you to log in to Epic and it displays your library in its separate window, allowing you to install them as Non-Steam Games. It’s quite easy
- Comment on Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford says his hopes on Epic Store were 'overly optimistic or misplaced' 2 months ago:
Using Junk Store on my Steam Deck (and redeeming free games on the mobile website) to completely avoid the Epic Launcher 😎

- Comment on Anon defends Michael Jackson 2 months ago:
He never identified as white, he was proud of being black. His facial surgeries weren’t about looking more white, but more beautiful, which due to white supremacy culture includes characteristics you could describe as white but not very accurately.
He used a skin whitening cream to even out his skin tone, because there was no skin darkening cream. It’s medically possible to destroy melanin but not to easily replace it. The vitiligo comes in in spots from my understanding.

“Savages”, "Redskins”, “Squaw”, and so on.
Some news headlines even refer to the second one as “the R-word”:
CNN: The terrible R-word that football needed to lose
Politico: The R-Word Is Even Worse Than You Think
These are extremely harmful words with hundreds of years of genocide behind them. I imagine the only reason they aren’t censored like the N-word is is because Native Americans make up a proportionally smaller population due to the effectiveness of the genocide, and because the reservation system is in contrast to racial integration as with American black people in so much as it limits interactions between them and racist whites who would overuse a dehumanizing phrase to the same extent.

Read further, while the author didn’t realize what she was doing it is a trans narrative through and through, and the free dlc ending did contain the flag because by then she did know.
