  Godot quickly became one of my favourite open source projects to watch. I played around with it for a bit when 3D was clearly an afterthought and seen continuous improvement ever since.

  I am a bit sad for what could have been. But I am not surprised at all.

  The game basically always stagnated and content came way to slow. Cosmetics and the battle pass were updated regularly though. Anyway since the game was dying, they brought an “big rework” and brought the game, previously only available on Epic, to Steam.

  The big rework changed most of the game into a grindfest/paywall, especially for new players. Old players were shafted as in weapons, builds, armour they spend time grinding for was removed from them to enable a “fresh start”.

  That obviously did not turn out well with new and old players. And now they are going to the live service game graveyard. Anyway fuck Phoenix Labs (and more specifically Forte Labs, a bunch of cryptocurrency twats who bought the former studio), another company blacklisted and I will never buy anything from again.

  I don’t know specifically what the content of the repo was. I just got a mail with hundred mentions from the repo truth/truth, Issue 777 called “<racial slur> balls”. It was already gone when I had the time to look it up.

  Depends on the configuration, but most likely yes. The reason being that your custom domain will have a MX record which points to the blocked email provider.

  • If the MX points to a domain and the domain is already blocked it will stop there.
  • If the MX points to a domain and the IP is blocked, it will resolve the domain, see the IP of your provider and stops there.
  • If the MX points to a IP and the IP is blocked, it stops there.
  • If the MX points to an IP and only the domain would be blocked, it might go through … unless they also check the reverse DNS entry, which may show the domain and thus will block it as well.

  For VW a lot of it is management failure. Instead of investing more into EVs and creating a car for the masses they held onto non-EVs mostly and then are surprised when cheaper vars (often from China) sell more.

  Additionally VW had a dividend payout of 4,5 billion euro earlier this year (something that is not mandatory) … and then noticed a couple of months later that they are missing 5 billion euro in their budget, leading to the news above.

  Sadly it doesn’t seem to add the possibility of whitelisting/blacklisting games. I do not want to share porn & VAC games, not even with adults, since the bans are shared to the account actually owning the game.
