- Comment on Young men are 'playing videogames all day' instead of getting jobs because they can mooch off of free healthcare, claims congressman 4 days ago:
So, they want to take away healthcare young men don’t have so they’ll get jobs that don’t exist. Sounds like a conservative plan.

Send me your game development company and I’ll double it! See my bio for details. You must follow the instructions exactly or you won’t get anything.

On the other hand, the new blockchain game they just released had funding from Marc Andreessen. So, color me skeptical.
- Comment on Inside the Whisper Campaign to Unseat The Bear As the Emmy’s Best Comedy 3 weeks ago:
The Bear is a comedy? It’s funny at times but there’s way too much drama to call it a comedy, IMO.

I once shit talked to coworkers about another coworker/supervisor. Except, by accident, I sent it to the coworker/supervisor.
Good times.

Tap for spoiler
Petey died.
Were you expecting backstory?
- Comment on Are there any plot arcs, or missed opportunities from any TV series that were abandoned that you think should've been picked up or continued? 1 month ago:
It’s the only Stargate series I’ve seen all the way through (what was available). I’ve tried SG-1 and Atlantis and they were ok but a little too… cheesy?… to keep my interest.

You keep posting about this and I don’t think it’s healthy.
You are not responsible for your parent’s divorce.
Posting on the Internet will not help you. Talk to a therapist. It can take a lot work to change this mindset. You need someone to guide you. Random people on the Internet cannot do that.

On second thought, do wear any/all of those and be sure to wax your mustache. Leave a hat or box for tips, I’ll throw some in.

Just don’t wear a vest, bowler/tophat or wingtips.

Learning how to obey the AI? Learning to recognize AI hallucinations from when the AI is just plain wrong? Learning how to put your classmates’ faces on porn?
That’s at least a quarter to a semester of material.

They’re all experts on education and psychology, too, I’m sure. And they’re not at all motivated solely by greed and avarice.
- Comment on Are we all suffering from "future shock" in 2025? 2 months ago:
Does ChatGPT incorrectly put spaces around the em dash, too? There should be no spaces around an em dash—that’s a clue that implies a human writer.
And, em dashes and en dashes are great—they should be used more often.
- Comment on Are we all suffering from "future shock" in 2025? 2 months ago:
Future Shock isn’t about the 70s or any decade being “better.” It’s about the effects of rapidly changing technology not that technology shouldn’t change.
- Comment on Consumers make their voices heard as Microsoft's huge venture flatlines in popularity 2 months ago:
This kind of thing makes me lose hope for humanity—the tendency for psychopaths to rise in power. Maybe that actually helped us advance to a point but it’ll definitely hold us back from evolving to something more equitable for all.
- Comment on If I snapped you back in time 650 years right this very second, how would you use your current knowledge to succeed? 2 months ago:
Yes. I’d have to learn their language first, anyway. I already know bits of modern versions but not much. Then, introduce the warning of invasions and teach them English with the caution that people speaking groups of people speaking will bring death and destruction.
It’s not like they’ll already have a fear of English or any concept of the language before I teach it to them.
- Comment on If I snapped you back in time 650 years right this very second, how would you use your current knowledge to succeed? 2 months ago:
Do my best to warn the locals of the coming invasion. Learn their language and teach them English and tell them not to trust any group of strangers who speak it.
Help improve their technology as best I can. I’m not sure how much I’d be able to improve it. At least, teach them to wear masks and wash their hands when around sick people.

They will definitely ask if you purchased anything. You can lie but if you get caught expect little to no leniency.
Can you get away with it? Probably, for some stuff. Is it worth it? You’re rolling some dice, you decide.
- Comment on What would the world look like if every worker got together and Unionized for a universale wage that helps everyone? Instead of one country trying to screw over another? 2 months ago:
It’s almost impossible to tell or coordinate.
What currency is the universal wage in? USD? EUR? CNY?
Is it the same everywhere? Do you adjust for purchasing power? How?
What you’re suggesting requires global cooperation on a scale that is inconceivable today. Nations would have to give up economic power in ways that no one would do today. You’d need a global government. We are nowhere near that and probably won’t ever be unless an extraterrestrial threat exists.

- Comment on Apple TV+ Comedy 'Mythic Quest' Canceled 2 months ago:
It was… OK… I guess. It wasn’t IASIP, which is fine. But, the characters were unlikable in a not terribly funny way. The tech aspects were all off enough that the audience that would be drawn to a WoW developer drama should cringe.
I haven’t gotten through the first two seasons, even. There were some interesting storylines but it didn’t seem well thought out.
- Comment on ‘Saturday Night Live’ Sets U.K. Edition, Launching on Sky in 2026 2 months ago:
Every franchise dilutes the value of the brand. There’s rarely a good reason for this beyond “make more money.”
Sometimes, it works. The Office is a good example but it was a situation comedy re-contextualized for a different audience that wasn’t aware of the original.
A sketch comedy show can’t be treated the same way. You can’t transliterate the characters and jokes. So, it’s just going to be a format carbon copy with the name slapped on for no reason other than it’s recognizable. And, that means the name is expected to do some heavy lifting which doesn’t bode well.
