Same! I came in very low expectations and ended up loving it!

We save our creativity and passion for the inevitable knife fight that turns into a gun fight in the parking lot after the game

My critique of your critique of my critique is two part. One you’re not wrong. Two it would require everyone everywhere to agree to no professional armies.
I guess it’s three parts because the militia based army of the US is the one that invaded Canada first. They were just really, really bad.

My critique of that is that’s how you get tge US in the war of 1812. You don’t want to be the US in the war of 1812.

That’s correct

Putting in an awful lot of effort defending EA already for someone that doesn’t give a shit

Abusers will often buy gifts to placate the victim. It’s a cheap and empty move that changes nothing in the end. Do not be fooled.
- Comment on FromSoftware didn’t want Sony to publish Dark Souls as it was ‘disappointed’ by how Demon’s Souls was treated 1 month ago:
I cannot wrap my head around how Elden Ring is a good game. The world is empty and dull. The bosses are copy paste. The dungeons are copy paste. It was so boring for me from beginning to end. The story was dumb. I don’t remember one character because they’re all boring and there’s no reason to give a shit about any of them. I will probably die not understanding why Elden Ring was considered good instead average at best.
- Comment on eggs in japan 2 months ago:
It’s not misinformation. You shouldn’t really eat raw eggs from a commercial setting in the US. Tge chickens are kept in depolarble conditions that encourage disease and bactetia. Eggs from a small farm may as well be from a whole different world.

Always has been and always will be. It’s like blackberries. You never completely win. You just keep the blackberries under control.

No need to apologize for a rant! Rant away!
But if we could finally stop arguing theory and get pissed off enough to march on Washington together or whatever, 2nd-amendment toting or not, we’d definitely be met with force for wanting to shut down the slave-driven garbage machines.
Yeah, our parents and grand parents kicked the can down the road at best. I’d argue they actively made it worse. Now we get to choose to sacrifice for a tomorrow, or to also kick the can. Either way people are going to die.
What’s our rallying cry?
There really isn’t one. People would rather keep their head down, make no noise, and hope to die before things get bad (for them specifically). Nothing you can say will break them out of that rut. They have to be personally and directly affected to even have a chance.
How do we engage?
Sadly I’m pretty sure we’re past the point anything good happening through legislation. Without enough people actually caring a general strike isn’t going to work.
Who’s going to step up and lead?
Someone who’s charismatic and willing to be assassinated.

People say they’re moving to avoid climate change and them move to where climate change is going to hit the hardest. What people say and what people do are often very different.
- Comment on Wobble Wobble 2 months ago:
Because most people aren’t actually interested
- Comment on Wobble Wobble 2 months ago:
Then why are so few people engaged?

I would say a better chance maybe? AEW did have a trans woman as the women’s champion, and I don’t see WWE doing that any time soon.
Granted they did have super chud and terrible wrestler Jake Haeger and pro-lifer Camille is there right now.
