  I am very happy with having bought Paralives when it debuted in Early Access. I had followed their work online ever since the first videos the creator posted back around eight years ago and the team seems really dedicated on making a good game.

  Virtual dollhouse-style life simulators are full of moving parts and I understand that there’s still a lot to grow from what’s currently on the game (even more so considering the size of the dev team), and with the frequent game updates they’ve been shipping I can’t wait to see where they take it.

  (them wresting the life sim monopoly from EA’s hands is a nice bonus.)

  Yeah, even physical pc games often just have a download key inside and no disk, and computers haven’t had disk drives for a while.

  (I know you can get external ones, but even cases nowadays don’t account for the ability to have them as an internal component)

  I did manage to snag a copy of House Flipper 2 for 6€ a few months ago when the lowest historical price at the time (according to IsThereAnyDeal) was in the 20s or 30s, so I’m very much in the camp of physical releases in any platform. There is much more choice for consumers, game preservation arguments notwithstanding.

  Zotero 7 (the latest main version) broke compatibility with Zotfile, but there are plugins around that are either forks of the version that ran on Zotero 6 or reimplementations of Zotfile’s features.

  I personally have been using Zotero Attanger and it’s been working great for me.
