I bleedin wish.
In the whole of 2022 I was sick and couldnt get anyone to see me. Managed to get 2 blood tests which gave me nothing. Finally got an appointment last May. Pretty much every GPs is like that now sadly.

I’m reminded of a certain Tool song 😅

Thats pretty cool. I’ve worked for the NHS for years and never heard of that, but it makes sense.

8 downvotes from American people.

The NHS will never pay for a bloodtest when you will ruin the GP’s fun. 😅

I’m sorry to read that. Is it curable or part of a longer condition you have to cope with?

5 downvotes here feels like Corporal Jones Dad’s Army is shouting out at us 😂

Exactly.
The number of times I had to correct colleagues that “HR is NOT your union”
- Comment on Anon gets unwanted attention 6 months ago:
Had some woman full-on grab my male arse in my old job when I was bent over doing a task. My colleague (female) saw it and marched after her letting her know that wasnt acceptable. Another member of staff kept constantly going on about my bike shorts and legs and everything inbetween… she was about 20 years older than me.
People here say this green text is fake. It may well be, but from experience it also may not.

Control of information is the real power.
Look at every dictatorship. Look at extremism. Look at wife beaters ffs. If someone is trying to DDOS the Internet Archive then someone is trying to mess with the free flow of information.

I love all that side of it myself. Used to photo the wild fungus down here.

Does it grow in shiit? 😅

I remember being on a wilderness weekend many years ago and being told that when you cut the stem on some poisonous shrooms they discolour a sort of blue tint. I’m lucky, I hate the taste and texture of mushrooms.

Because this summary is pretty good still. Its enough that people might want to delve deeper into the guys other videos.

The guy who made it is a former TV documentary maker. His channel is amazing.

See this with brands now too. People who think YTers have sold out post a rant. One guy yesterday ranted at the guy about endorsing a “scam” about a product that actually worked. Doesnt have to just be science now, it can be anything objective. Anything that actually works. People are scared of trusting any due process.

He’s done some other cool stuff on there (like building a box violin like they used in the trenches)

I was in Mexico many years ago, sleeping in Mexico City where people told me the next day one had gone off. Never awoke from my sleep. Completely slept through it. It left a big crack down the side of a huge commercial building a few miles away and they had to find an alternative work site.
