- Comment on What should I bring to far-north Scandinavia? 1 week ago:
You going sometime soon? Around December the temps tend to plunge and Jan-Feb can be really cold, somewhere around -40C, potentially with some wind and blowing snow making it feel even colder. Highly recommend good outside set, with winter boots, gloves and the rest of clothing meant for that sort of weather, especially if you expect you would need to be outside for a while. I like the overall type pants and winter rubber boots big enough to fit wool socks in myself. :P Might be difficult to buy good quality stuff if you live somewhere much warmer. Probably worth asking whoever is hosting you for some help there. They might even have extra sets available already. Houses up there are typically very warm, so nothing special needed for inside use. Otherwise maybe a camera that is good in low light if you like to take pictures. Should get some good northern lights and stuff if you’re up there a whole month.

Where the fuck you store it though? A shitty car you can park anywhere, a horse is gonna take some space. Especially for us poor fucks where the temperature drops below freezing for part of the year. Car just maybe not gonna start today, a horse might not start ever again.

- Comment on What's the least suspicious way to get OTC meds through airport security? 3 months ago:
Least suspicious would probably be in whatever package they come in. When I travel with my family, we do usually bring most meds in a zip lock bag and we’ve had zero issues so far though. Anyway it doesn’t typically matter, assuming the meds are not restricted in the country you’re going to. I wouldn’t expect many OTC meds would be.

Somehow they also designed them so the tube goes stale roughly 2 minutes after opening it. Also the lovely texture reminiscent of sawdust. Truly a marvel of engineering.
- Comment on Movie Trailers Are Killing Movies 5 months ago:
Yeah, same here. For the couplele movies a year we actually want to see in a theatre, we go “VIP” one that serves alcoholic drinks and some snacky foods on top of the typical movie theater stuff. No teens allowed because of the drinks. So much cleaner in general and comfier seats than a typical theater. It’s a bit more expensive, especially when overpaying for the beer, but it is for so much better experience.
- Comment on BBC uncovers 6,000 possible illegal sewage spills in one year 5 months ago:
What the fuck? Having to ever discharge raw sewage at all sounds like there’s something clearly wrong with the infrastructure, but 6000 times a year? That sounds like releasing raw sewage is just a part of their every day water treatment plan at this point.
